    Who rides motorcycles?

Found a guy in South Africa making aftermarket exhaust for the bike. About $1k to procure, but they sound amazing. It already has a race ECM from the previous owner/exhaust setup, so the fueling should be close. https://buellformance.com/products/buell-1125-dual-outlet-slip-on-exhaust

    Who rides motorcycles?

It's a unique bike for sure. I have a lot of NOS parts that I hoarded when I bought it. Rare color too. Once I get the old motor out of it, I'm going to disassemble it and see what is salvageable for parts. I'm guessing a lot, since it was running and riding until the day I pulled the stator...

Buell had Rotax design a motor for them, for the 1125. They now use that motor in a 1190cc platform for the new Buell bikes. Here is my new motor from a shelf at Vance and Hines. Complete with wiring harness. Erik had them build it for a race bike, at about the same time Buell went bankrupt...

    Buying into the stock market

I don't know... We have found it awful easy to make $800k in the past 20 years just investing ourselves. That's gains... I've never seen a fund go to zero, or cut in half. You'd have to awful at picking investments, or the most unlucky investor ever.

Investing 101 also says, timing the market is folly. The high 20 years ago was 10k. If you had not bought in at that high, you wouldnt have realized a 400% gain. I've never considered WHEN I bought. I just bought. We average 15% return on our funds that I manage myself. Id hope paying an...

Yeah the TYM ‘20 series have 3300lbs plus lift capacity, none of that common rail ECM bull crap, and they are heavy for thier size. My 4820 is a little smaller than the 494, but weighs just as much. I have the HST version and have zero complaints
  70. CloverKnollFarms

When did electronic fuel injection become common?

The issue with common rail is the plethora of sensors and signals that the computer reads, just to run the engine. Mechanical injection needs fuel and air and compression... No computer.

    Tractors and (upcoming) tariffs?

I look forward to the # of illegal border crossings reported in the new administration. Since there was a threat of tariffs on Mexico if they didn't participate in that mitigation, and it appears they are taking that threat seriously. Meaning... It has a result, and the tariff hasn't been...

The issue has become the unaffordability of homes. In relation to income, homes are more expensive than in the 1980s. I feel extremely fortunate that we bought and paid for our current acreage and home, in full, in 2018. My daughter will be on the edge of homelessness in Boston for quite a...

    Tractors and (upcoming) tariffs?

The sky has been falling for two decades. The current administration has lied and subverted democracy. It just blows my mind that people can't see it on their own side. It's like people who still wear paper masks alone in their cars. They have been severely psychologically damaged, to ignore...

The new administration said they would impose tariffs, IF certain things were not rectified. So again, I don't expect to see many tariffs. I do expect to see other nations coming to the table now that the US is poised to protect itself. Joe is asleep, Kamala is on a boxed wine bender...

They are very complex builds, compared to a langstroth hive, for sure. I've looked at other Layens builders offerings, and I think we build the premium example. Our pricing is also extremely reasonable considering the labor involved.

I mean, Joe B said he would raise min wage to $15/he when he pushed Bernie out of the race in 2020. That didn't happen. That's why I don't believe all things. And I also understand the context of the tariffs. I don't ignore the context of them and blindly say they will be implemented...

OEM Tractor Oil vs Shell, Valvoline, Amsoil, etc.

How will a dealer know if you used their brand of oil? I mean, I’m not obligated to have them change it for me? Does Kubota oil taste different than Rotella? Not sure who makes TYM oil, but I use Rotella T6. If it’s good enough for my sport bikes, it’s good enough for the tractor.
