27" snow blower. Never used. Needs carb cleaned. $100

Some 5 years ago a friend of mine was having a hard time getting people to work for his landscaping business.
He got me to help 3-4 days a week.
You wouldn't believe some of the lawn mowers, snow blowers, tillers I came home with for free.
Many of the contracts were with older widows that would never use these things and just wanted them gone.
Some just needed to be run with some carb cleaner and a plug replacement.
Others had stood so long they needed fuel lines replaced and carbs rebuilt.
I still use my Honda self propelled mower and top of the line Troybilt tiller.
The tiller still had paint on the blades.

He inherited it from a grandparent... Tried to sell it for a few years, no takers. Now he has me looking and it won't start, and he isn't handy.

Got it home, disassembled the carb, cleaned, had it running in an hour. Started on the first pull. Changing the oil today and looking forward to using it tomorrow

Good deal! The electric starter alone is probably close to that price.

I couldn't find "a deal", or one that was close enough. I picked this King Kutter gear drive 5 footer up at Fleet Farm yesterday. $2,499. Used ones online were $2k and/or they were 600 miles away. Came with a PTO shaft manual, but not one for the unit. I forgot to ask when I picked it up, so I printed one at home. Getting ahead of myself maybe, but the SIL said he was tired of renting - we needed one...

I haven’t bought them yet but I’m going to be due for 2 trailer tires.

Took the easy way out and ordered four H8 AGM batteries for the M936.

If I can revive the two ailing 6TL batteries over time, great. If not there will be two good ones left over to use in something else.
