Were you looking at the old school starter that is solenoid based vs. the modern types with OSGR? The OSGR starters cost less and are more reliable.

Eric, I would agree with 3D printed nylon. It's basic PA6. Now, the nylons least affected by water is PA66 aka nylon 6/6. There isn't a known material for 3D printing like a PA66 - - - yet that I'm aware of.

Good luck on finding ANY wheel spacers anywhere. Most places are on back order for 18 to 24 months. Most of the spacers are made from 6061-T6 aluminum; durable, holds up well and resists corrosion.

Mitsubishi went to the extreme of having the K3x gas engines. Both for tractor or for 4-cly front wheel drive cars and the Fuso trucks. If anyone needed parts, the autoparts store can still get them over here with no troubles. I've found that really helpful to learn. :)

Using 5W30 diesel engine oil makes a huge difference in starting our old machines. Often down to 25F, the thermostart is not even used. Yes, we need you to keep posting the progress of your Yanmar tiller. :)

Bet the engine has the ticker oil for summer use. And the hydraulics had the ticker and high viscosity oil too. Once you get the machine all back nicely, keep in touch we can chat about season things to keep in mind and to check. Some dealers are great, others are questionable.

As you have the Yanmar filter on-hand, you could visit a NAPA store, match up the overall height to the WIX 51334. Wix makes the NAPA/Carquest filters.

Does it have a Kubota engine like most do? Then look for the air filter for that engine. To me, it looks just like the air intake canister for a Yanmar or John Deere or Ford 1000 Series tractor.

That's what I was thinking too. Marine grade is more durable than Ag grade. Chances are, this one will not leak like the old YM OE styles did. Stroke is key, then the mounting. It should be strong enough to do the job overall.
