This style is the best frost proof hydrant that I have ever had: Baker Water Systems - Monitor® Magnum Yard Hydrant
The water valve works just like a hydraulic spool valve. And after the hydrant is installed the handle can be rotated to any position desired then held there with the set screw.
I used 3, 2x12's, with 6" casters. The best thing about it is now when I drop a heavy piece of metal, it lands on the wood, instead of chipping out a chunk of the floor.
Yes, that is why I asked what type you put in it.
Many years ago I had a Case 446 garden tractor that acted similar if you used hydraulic oil instead of the motor oil it was designed for.
The steepest known side slope was 27 degrees on the back of a dam.
No problem climbing steep and rugged slopes. On loose terrain you can turn around and use the boom to push going up.
This is what I did to remove the stump jumper on mine:
Put another wrench on the head of the big bolt and did "lefty loosely" forcing the nut down putting tension on the chain.
The little bolt through the shaft, kept it from falling when it broke loose
That is not a compact telehandler like mine, it is full size.
Surprised to see a bucket on it, but the boom is different than most telehandlers so it probably will not break using the bucket.
Merlo does make good compact telehandlers that would be good on side slopes like my Bobcat V417 is.
You can see the performance by clicking the link that I posted.
I have no experience with wheel loaders.
I know that it will dig better than a CTL in hard clay and sand rock:
The small size is another advantage:
Here is my Bobcat V417 compact telehandler that I bought new in September 2010.
It is an amazing machine that has a Skid Steer Quick Attach and aux hydraulics on the telescoping boom.
The 7 foot brush cutter:
The 7 foot wide 1 cubic yard bucket:
The Monster Grapple:
More in this...
Mostly cedar and oak up to 7 lnches
Not a skid loader, the Bobcat V417 is a compact telehandler.
Here is a dead oak tree:
It broke:
Here is another dead oak tree:
Took it to the pile in the ravine:
Here is a 5 inch by 15 foot cedar tree:
Yes it is a compact TH, close to the same size as mine, but no SSQA.
I have lifted over 6,000 pounds with mine and pulled some big trees with it:
And the size, it fits in the 83 inch high garage door:
My compact telehandler will out work a skid steer and not tear up the ground. It has the same SSQA plate and hydraulic connectors as most skid steers.
Here it is with a 7 foot brush hog:
And a 24 foot tall tree in the long arm tree puller:
And rotated horizontal just for grins:
Thread bump, a year has passed with me taping my mouth shut every night. So nice to not have an open mouth and dried out throat in the morning.
I hope people see it that need it.
They have been around longer than we have been using them. Here is a previous Post with 21 bale bundles: Hay Bale Bundle
The guy we buy from now does 14 bale bundles and delivers them on a truck with a small dump bed
The guy we buy our horse hay from delivered two 14 bale bundles this morning:
Picked up one with the V417 and Monster Grapple:
Put it on the dolly:
Picked up the second bundle:
Took it in and set it on top of the first bundle, but I got distracted and did not get a picture.

Hooked the chain to the tree I pushed over two months ago:
Dragged it out of the woods:
Pulled it to the brush pile:
Picked it up with the grapple:
View from the seat, pulled forward and extended the boom to put it out over the pile:
Opened the dual lids and gravity grabbed it:
Ok, I'll do it on this eleven year old thread to show that the V417 is still working!
Hooked a chain to a dead oak tree that it had pushed over:
Pulled it out of the woods:
At the brush pile:
The view from the seat:
Steep is no problem. What I mow has uneven ground where the machine is still on the flat level, but one side of the mower deck is going up or down in the uneven area. It has to twist to keep the wheels on the ground.
The linkage on this deck lets that happen.
Another thread bump for those naysayers and those that haven't seen it.
I started eating (not breathing the dust) food grade DE about 12 years ago and still no autopsy at 84 years old!
One heaping tablespoon stirred into 8 ounces of water around 10:45 AM every day.

Put the mower on the trailer first, then the tractor with the digger mounted.
After unloading screw the digger into the ground enough to hold it up until needed.
This shows now on my ChromeBase computer:
I clicked page 2 and got this:
Page 1 was blank until just now:
Page 39 is the first with a thread:
Then page 40 is full:
I do not use the back button.
I hold down "Ctrl" (control) and click the post, that opens it in a new tab.
After reading it hold down control and hit the W key. That wipes the tab and returns to New posts.

I guess it is correctly tensioned when the latch pin stays down and latched.
What is the reason that your levers work backwards to latch and unlatch?
This is normal:
Yep, it is made by Grace MFG. Grace Manufacturing - Maker of the Tree Terminator
It has the stump jumper disc holding the blades that are sharp on both sides so it cuts rotating either way:

I bought a pressure gauge, hydraulic tee and connectors so I could check the aux pressure on my V417 Versahandler.
For your tractor a 3000 pound gauge would work best on the input to the loader from the pump. Connect it so the flow is through the tee to the loader.

Yes, another recommendation for High Grade Mfg.
I bought 4 caster wheels for my finish mower from them.
Today's seat time in the "tree skidder". Hooked the chain to the tree I pushed over a few days ago:
Skidded it out of the woods:
Made it to the brush pile:
Picked it up with the grapple:
View from the seat, pulled forward to put it out over the pile:
Opened the dual lids and...
Yep and several 6 foot decks that fit it.
No, this is now: | Toro
Not that I have found.
The TBN Groundsmaster thread: any toro groundsmaster fans on here?
It is an old ammo box that someone painted before I bought it.
Use it for chain and strap storage:
And another chain storage spot:
And shovel storage place above the box:
This is how I replaced it. Put the V417 up on the trailer:
Removed the old (black) battery:
Set the AGM battery on a bucket:
Slid the bucket in and over:
Shoved the battery up in place and clamped it down:
No, but that is a good thing to do. I need to do that now since it doesn't get used as much now on the smaller (33 acres down from 80) place we moved to.
I replaced the original battery with an AGM battery 5 years ago.

Although I did one once: Tree Puller?
I had the same too high problem because of standing water in the yard. This picture from the back porch camera after one pass shows how high the grass is:
Here is the second pass, the tall grass is hiding the deck front wheels:
And no "rows of uncut lines of grass" :
Right, but the...
