What have you done to your Branson today?

We used the ***-along to pull it up the skid with a little help from a 5' pry bar. :) It was pretty sketchy, like the Lilliputians tying down Gulliver.

What have you done to your Branson today?

I went to an auction Saturday morning. I got there right when they opened at 8 for the preview so I could assign prices to any lots I might want to bid on. This Howse rotary cutter was out in a corner of the property and I never saw it. The auction gallery was setup with a big video screen so...

    3520h suddenly won't start

I was using the 3520 as a bulldozer (I know, I know). I was uprooting and pushing scrub growth and brush away from the house and property line. I stopped for lunch and of course the Branson wouldn't start when I got back to it. Turns out a branch or something got into the engine compartment and...

    Backhoe BH76 Bucket Dimensions

Here is a primitive dimensional drawings showing my Branson/Ansung BH76 bucket. Aquamoose, were you ever able to confirm that the BH76 on the Kubota is the same as the one on the Branson? I want to buy a 6" trenching bucket and want to make sure I'm buying one that fits. Thanks! p.s. - If...

What have you done to your Branson today?

It's raining here the last few days but I used the forks and a sling to bring the finish mower into the shop for some overdue TLC... sharpened, lubed, etc. Also moved wood chips from the chip pile to the laydown area to manage the mud.

What have you done to your Branson today?

I started moving some boulders for landscaping using the 3-point to quick attach adapter. When the load was lifted the tractor would sit lightly on the front axle but when moving it quickly started bouncing. At this point I used the split brakes to steer as my front axle wasn't really engaged (I...

Hooking Hydraulic lines up on Backhoe

Yeah I chain the outriggers too but I'm still gonna get the Parker connect-under-presser couplers.

In two of these pics from Mt Umunhum (all taken last January) you'll see some gold off on the horizon... that's the sun reflecting off the Pacific.

What have you done to your Branson today?

Micro-mini project but I'd been meaning to attach rare earth magnets to my "slow moving vehicle" triangle so that it could go on the roll bar, any attachment, the backhoe, etc. Mission accomplished.

What have you done to your Branson today?

Pulling 6x6x8' posts out of the ground. Shoulda set 10 footers in the first place so re-doing it. Mostly I wanted to show you guys the: 1) 3 Point to Universal Quick Tach Adapter and 2) 60" Tree Boom Attachment. I purchased both from Titan attachments for about $600 including taxes and shipping.

What have you done to your Branson today?

I took the 24" auger out for its first spin making 6 holes for carport footings. I snapped 2 shear pins while drilling 48" deep holes in very compacted but dry clay soil. Along the way I found out a few things: It's really a two person job (that however wasn't an option) This 24" auger makes...

    Bragging on my Branson!

FWIW, the Kubota MX 5200 is lighter and has less lifting capacity than the Branson 3520H.

    Bragging on my Branson!

Yup. Here's my 35 HP Branson lifting 2428 pounds (275 gallons x 8.34 lbs/gallon + 135 IBC Tote). And yes, had to scoop some gravel in the FEL to keep good balance on both axles.

What have you done to your Branson today?

I used my "3 Point to Universal Quick Tach Adapter" from Titan Attachments for the first time. I had been using my pallet forks on my FEL to move 275 gallon IBC totes of water that I use in my rainwater harvesting system. When full they're over 2400 lbs so I try not to fill them all the way...

What have you done to your Branson today?

The post hole digger worked really well. I used the 12" auger bit and it was like butter. The real test comes next week when I attempt to dig out cylindrical footings for 18" rebar cages. I'll be using a 24" auger.

What have you done to your Branson today?

I took the backhoe (BH76) off for the foreseeable future. Because I want to store it away from the house I don't really have level ground on which to store it. I tried leveling it left to right with a torpedo level I placed on the operator station console near the levers. In re-reading one of...

What have you done to your Branson today?

Re-planted one of my cherry trees. I wanted it to be at a closer elevation to the others so I can build a trellis and prune them in espalier-style. The gopher wire is helpful when re-planting trees though I wish I'd done it right the first time.

What have you done to your Branson today?

I attached my backhoe because I have to dig the footings for the new carport. I really struggled with the hydraulic connections. I then took down an old dying multi-trunk oak. I wish I had a grapple but make the most of my pallet forks.

Also I used an A-frame level to find a contour line in the meadow and used the box blade to cut a terrace. The terrace is sloped uphill to retain water and prevent sheeting. I could have used a swale and berm system but decided that I'm going to use terraces instead. This terrace will be for...

What have you done to your Branson today?

Nice video PTSG. This past weekend it was dry enough in the soil pit to get some nice soil to bring up to the meadow for some spring bare root planting.

What have you done to your Branson today?

I needed a way to distribute a load evenly between the FEL and the 3 point hitch while taking 1800 lbs of concrete down to the bottom of the property so I made this "modification." :)

What have you done to your Branson today?

It's plenty sturdy but I'll probably add a sole plate the same footprint as the toolbox to minimize any racking when the box is full. But it's good as it is right now. And it's a perfect match for the Branson red.

What have you done to your Branson today?

Tool Box Install: Harbor Freight 21" Tool Box, 3/8" stainless hardware, strut and strut nuts. It's long enough for the longest metric wrenches needed on the tractor.

    Oil filter for 4720ch

As promised (a fairly long time ago) here is a photo of the stock oil filter for my Branson 3520H on the left and a replacement filter (Wix 51626) on the right. BH76 Backhoe zerk won't take grease

Hey fellas. I try to be pretty good about greasing my tractor and attachments. Recently, even before the weather started getting cold I found that the 2 main pivot zerks on the backhoe (BH76) wouldn't take grease. I poked around on Youtube and based on some videos I tried heating the areas...

I'm not necessarily thrilled with the "install" but I had no other choice for location. It covers part of the tach but I can see the RPM range that I typically use and anyways, I listen to the engine if I want feedback. I've wanted one of these on the tractor as our property is pretty hilly...

    Oil filter for 4720ch

At the bottom is the photo of the replacement filter I got from O'Reilly Auto Parts next to the OEM filter. As you can see the replacement (WIX 51626) is the same diameter but about 3/4" longer. I ran the **** out of the tractor this weekend and I'm up to 68.3 hours after performing the oil...

    Hello from the Sierra Foothills

Hey All. Branson Bob here, so named because of the April 2016 purchase of a Branson 3520H from Dave's Tractors in Red Bluff, CA. We bought the tractor with the FEL, backhoe, finish mower, pallet forks, and Rim Guard ballast. It's a hydrostatic due to my desire to see Wifey get proficient on the...
