    Saws, supplies for firewood cutt'n....

Understand I've had couple of older "pull ons" Poulon saws, presently use an Echo 310 for limbing and small trees, but the Stihl MS251C is the work horse. We burn 15 or so ricks of hickory, maple and oak, harvested primarily from windfall on our 100 acres of woods. I just turned 83, and the...

    Saws, supplies for firewood cutt'n....

Love the wood box, How do you fasten it into the loader bucket? I might be able to overload my Shibaura D23 With green oak, but the box would be handy after a year of seasoning in the woods.

    Worst oil change ever

I epoxy coated the floor of my 24 x 32 work shop, mostly used for wood working. I did find out that Titebond wood glue has a stronger adhesion to the epoxy than the epoxy has to concrete. A fine streight line of concrete dots where the glue fell on the floor.

    Making gas cans great again

Kenny I had the same problem. HF refunded my money but didn't want the pump back because it had been used in gasoline. I then, on recommendation of my neighbor, bought what looked like the same pump from Menards, but was much better quality. Have had zero problems with the Menards pump. At...

replacing engine oil filter every change

Buick LeSabre had a "oil life Monitor". I changed the oil and the filter when it got to 10-15% (which was normally about 12-13 Kmiles). Sold it with 295000 miles, and still did not use any oil between oil changes. The Buick Century does not have a oil sensor, but is supposed to alert when an...

    Shiraura D23F lost 4wd

My D23F has teeth missing from the front ring gear. I have removed the gear, and am using it as a 2wd tractor. It has been a great, reliable machine; I have had it some 20 years, and put about 900 hours on it (total now 1900). But I use the FEL quite a bit, firewood, gravel, snow removal...
