    BX22 Stuck in Turtle !!

My BX25d ALWAYS starts in gear and has from day one brand new. Had a BX24 before that and it started in any position as well. This is news to me…

    BX25D with BX5455HD snow blower?

Thank you for the diagrams and reassurance. To listen to the salesman, you would think you needed major modifications and 6 hours to get this blower mounted…

    BX25D with BX5455HD snow blower?

The sales guy sent me the manual for the hitch and it has assembly instructions. I’ll bet it comes all apart in a box (or several)

    BX25D with BX5455HD snow blower?

Turns out they want to “assemble the quick hitch and subframe” on my dime as a service…they will gladly pick it up and return it for $160 too! I told them I will pick it up ASSEMBLED and on a pallet.

    BX25D with BX5455HD snow blower?

Who has one and what is needed for installing on my BX25d? Dealer in NH is all over the place on what mods are needed to tractor for this installation. From what I can see in the manuals, the parts that go on the tractor (bx2751 subframe) and (bx2753 mid PTO KIT) just hang on the frame with...

I know it has been discussed but

Did the BX FUEL FILTER relocation to the glass bowl filter (kit) and have to say it has been so nice using the BX in all the coldest conditions this winter without the stupid factory filter freezing up and causing heartburn when you need the BX most. Like they say...JUST DO IT! (If you are in a...

Oil & Fuel  New filter kit

Just got the fuel filter replacement kit for my BX 25D. Never having seen or handled one of these filters before, it is pretty obvious how it works but it came with a spring inside the filter bowl. I assume it goes under the filter element to keep it up against the top? The filter element is...

    BX steering glitch

After cleaning up after yesterdayエ storm I was coming back up my driveway (steep hill, paved) in 2wd, to put my BXPanded plow back on and when I reached the top I went to turn 45 degrees to the right to line up the plow when I felt the front wheels were not responding fully to my turning the...

    Big Tex 60CH 16 trailer

Loaded my Argo to go ice fishing and when I got to the lake one of the trailer ramps that store under the deck was gone. Trying to find out if this is a common occurance with this type of ramp storage. Nice trailer otherwise and will carry pretty much anything I have plus my BX5D with room to...

2nd time this winter. Finished plowing with one chain on rear. Think I will hang up the thrown chain and finish the winter with the one chain. Any harm in doing so?

    Tires  Valve stems bad

Loaded tires on my BX25d have been fine for 4 years but today I went to put my chains on and found the tires almost deflated and the valve stems wont take air. I got the chains on and somehow forced air into the tires by putting my air blower attachment on my compressor line over the valve stem...

Dang mid PTO for MMM BX25d

There must be a better way to attach the shaft from the mower to the PTO. Each Spring when I service my deck and attach it to the tractor it is a painful ritual until I can get the dang thing to connect. For one, the the collar that slips back never stays in the back position...each time I pull...

Loss of power/Stalling in the cold

Seems like every winter right in the middle of snow removal my BX25D pulls this loss of power stalling out routine. I know it is usually the fuel filters icing up but jeepers cripes I use anti gel and diesel dry (more than recommend) And still every winter this happens. Is this common for these...

    What is the phenomenon called...

When you are going up or down hill with a heavy load and the tractor starts rolling backwards (in the case of uphill) or rolls forward in the case of downhill? Seems like being in 4wd eliminates this. Brake pedal seems to be ineffective as well when this happens...definitely causes a pucker...

    Studded Turf tires?

Anyone done it? The do sell kits to do it yourself and I'm thinking about it for my asphalt driveway (the steep part) When I don't use my Honda tracked blower (small snowfalls or ice) which seems to be every storm this year...I simply push the snow around with my bucket. Trouble is, depending...

    Third time a charm?

So...my BX25D has had the second block heater fail. Went out one frosty morning to heat her up and move some firewood. Pulled the trigger on a Ratchet Rake from TSC

It was my one year anniversary present to myself...:D I will try to utilize it to scrape wild grass and weeds from areas around the house and deck so we can plant perennials, shrubs and then mulch the areas. Eventually, if I can get the tractor up my back woods trail (need to build a better...

    Stuck BX backhoe pins

Went to remove my backhoe today so I could mow with the BH and FEL off and after about an hour of trying, prying, banging and swearing I had to mow with the full regalia attached. Not that this is a problem but the BX25D rides much smoother without the bounciness of having the BH and FEL...

    BX 25D seat comfort

Read on here about many who think the ride on a BX is bumpy (myself included) Had also read about a simple inner tube "fix" to soften the ride a bit...well I had purchased a small donut inner tube for some reason years ago and just put it away in it's box. Yesterday, I re-mounted my 60" deck...

    ROPS Liability...

Got a call from the Kubota dealer and the service rep who took care of the ROPS' "Broken Weld" (see that post). His first words to me were "I screwed up!" He said that they had to order a brand new ROPS and wanted the serial number from mine. I'm guessing "mother" Kubota gave them **** for...

    BX25D Block heater question

    Bolt size?

My BX25D has filled rears and I have just begun to experiment with letting some air out to soften the hard ride of the seemingly over-inflated tires. Can you adjust the air pressure on filled rears (BX25D)

    Mowing with FEL and BH?

Anyone doing this on their BX with MMM? I have removed my BH and FEL twice now and it seems to get more difficult to re-attach these each time. Of course the determining factor is that I have no paved area to do this on. I tried getting a couple of sheets of plywood to attach and detach, but...
