Everything Attachments - everything they say it is, but how have you routed you hydraulic lines?

On my Danuser Intimdator has a spring tower for the lines. On all the grapples use a rubber bungee around the FEL cross bar to police the lines and keep them clear of the ssqa latches. The lines are also sheathed in nylon protector sleeve. I use el QDs on the implement sides just aligns better.

Have the older style, bigger Miller 211. Been a pleasure to use. Used over 150# of wire in ten years. Would buy again. Before using added a longer, bigger and better grounding lead and clamp. Eventually added a Miller 15’ gun.

Do Any of You All Run Grapples From Rear Remotes?

My 80s M5030DT ran two 1/2” hoses from rear remotes to FEL front for grapple. Welded four double hydraulic line mounting blocks to support the lines. Protected the lines in nylon sleeve. Believe the lines were 12’ long. No problems for over twenty years. Newer tractors have factory 3rd function...

    FEL removal and ride quality

Adding the Kubota soft ride to the M59 FEL made a huge difference in ride quality but also helps in component wear from reducing the shock load. Granted the pictures look odd. The bottom is angled just as the other ssqa equipment. Attached to B26 just fine and carried to the tractor shed. The B26 front bucket and backhoe buckets all have wonderful flares to guide the tractor in. Had to make some for the M59 grapple. The top bar was a...

Grapple opens but it will not close

    hydraulic hoses replacement?

    hydraulic hoses replacement?

Surplus center saved some $$$ replacing all hoses on the B20 after 25 years. Took a lot of figuring with lengths and fittings. A hydraulic shop is your best bet. Be sure to label, take pictures and maybe a couple of trips/batches with the worst ones first.

Kubota L3130 : Front Axle Vent

I’ve had a dirt dobber or maybe road dust plug the rubber vent line on my truck rear axle vent and push oil past the seals and wet the brakes. Extending and making axle vents is common in the off road circles. The bush hog has a sintered metal vent in the center on the fill plug for the...

Tine grapple as useful as a root rake or rock grapple bucket?

To answer your question, no. Specialty grapple. Root and log grapples work best for rocks, roots, brush and logs. Curved plate tines, serrated teeth and geometry works best for that task. You do need skidsteer quality and strength for your size tractor.
  33. S

    Welding

Did you provide drain hole or slot? Guess it could drain fully raised? Don’t think there is a down side and keep the tubing clean. I’ve had mice and one snake come out the upper FEL arm holes back towards the operator station. Live action fun!
  34. S

Tine grapple as useful as a root rake or rock grapple bucket?

The round tube welded ~8” in-between the teeth/times of the long bottom root grapple acts as guide to control the tooth depth when raking the ground depending on the tilt angle. Also handy chaining to lift stuff. For sticky stuff like manure with bedding straight tines work best but don’t...

Another tool that surprised how useful I got about a year ago was a Dewalt 20V polesaw. 8” bar cuts fast and good battery life. Easier than a chainsaw. The reach helps a lot. Keeps me out of the danger zone. Bigger stuff don’t have to cut all the thru will break when grappled. Once a load is...

Saplings and brush around pond banks. Suggestions?

My point about willows. You have to be judicial when pulling trees. Cut and kill sometimes the best option. Big advantage with the Intimdator is the ability to excavate and break/cut roots prior to pulling trees leaves less ground disturbance. Made to back drag filling the hole. Expands the...
  39. S

Saplings and brush around pond banks. Suggestions?

Danuser Intimdator makes easy work of olive, privet and rose. Willows have root systems larger than their crown. Tend to take a bit of the shoreline with them. Roots break pretty easy. Once clear the cutter of your choice will maintain.

Brand new L3901. Nothing but joy...almost.

Upgraded grill protection is a must do for grapple work. OTT has some fabricators making some bolt on ones for newer models. Have used a wicked 54” dual lid grapple on a B26 for several years now. Absolutely loved it. Without a doubt highly recommend. Think it’s rated to 55hp tractor.

Put these on the front of a Kubota M59. Immediately improved traction. Heavy sidewall and rim guard helps with loader operations. Twice as heavy as OEM tires. Several years now and doing well. Tractor stays mostly in 4wd and scuffing off-road is minimal. Only problem is they are difficult to...

2-4D amine will kill broadleaf plants but not grass. Good stand of grass helps crowd out other plants. B2620 Mower Size?

Run a 6’ woods finish mower on our B26. The extra width makes trimming next to landscaping and buildings easy. HST transmission can handle it. We, my wife mainly, mows lawn, orchard, around barns, to semi woods. In the fall use it to mulch the leaves in our 1/2 mile green tunnel driveway.

90-110hp tractor hydraulics 15 gpm and operating skid steer attachments?

Lot of skidsteers have a third QDs for a case drain for hydraulic motors. For tractor or 3pt hydraulic packs your looking at 3 lines. FEL hydraulic cutters usually need free flow on the discharge so the cutting disk can spin down after you close the supply. Not how 3rd function or remotes...

Bought this flat belt saw at the scrap yard for $46. Simple angle iron frame with hinged table to crosscut firewood or posts. Poured bearings have no play and rotate. What to use as a tow chain?
