I kinda doubt that EA has many customers buying 4+ attachments at the same time. I don't see them as having "high volume" customers. I suspect the majority of their customers buy one, or possibly two, attachments on the same order. EA production issues are likely primarily supplier related.

I put Air Lift air bag shocks on the 454 V-8 Suburban. Easy to install, and made a big towing difference.

    SUBURBAN FOR SALE

I towed my Ford 3400 TLB from MA to Nova Scotia and back, as well as towing my L48TLB 350 miles from Maine to MA., with the 2500 Suburban. Either machine with trailer, weighed 12,000 lbs. Not recommended, but no problems,...... definitely don't tailgate!

    SUBURBAN FOR SALE

I completely agree,..... but surprisingly, I think the F-150 is technically rated to tow 11,300 lbs.

    SUBURBAN FOR SALE

My son has a topper on the F-150, and tows a 16' cargo work trailer, so everything is rain protected and locked up. His cargo trailer has serious locks, but was broken into while parked over a holiday weekend, with thousands of dollars of power tools stolen.

    SUBURBAN FOR SALE

It is such a nice vehicle! In many ways, I like it better than my Mercedes E-350, though they are obviously very different. At 80, I just don't have a need for a Suburban any longer. One son already has a nice Suburban, and the other is an F-150 guy, or I would give it to either of them.

    Y'all Been Checkin' Lumber Prices?

In context, it appeared to mean "increase".

Time for a new portable generator

I believe that your "hi-test" gas in Canada is all ethanol free. That unfortunately is not the case in parts of the USA.

Tractor front axle calamity; crisis averted?

I think the $17 you reference may be for UPS shipping. I always ask Messick's for USPS shipping if it meets USPS parameters. Usually much cheaper than UPS!

    Y'all Been Checkin' Lumber Prices?

Demand increase = price going down? Voodoo economics?
  157. F

Time for a new portable generator

If you can buy ethanol free gas, or aviation 100LL, you can go much longer before siphoning.

Dealers: how does mahindra do it and why do we pt up with it?

On average, I only use my Jeep for 500 miles each year. The 34 year old jeep has a crappy repair reputation....but with the 5 spd. it is fun. My Kubota L48TLB HST gets less than 20 hours per year, but compared to the Jeep it is a fine piece of machinery.

I really want an RK 24, talk me out of it. Please.

Buying an RK tractor is a 20K -30K roll of the dice that I would not be willing to take!
  160. F

I really want an RK 24, talk me out of it. Please.

I believe that for the long haul there is a significant likelihood of the RK tractor brand going the way of Cabelas tractors. That would lead me away from considering an RK tractor. Individuals make RK tractor purchase decisions based primarily on price, as Cabelas tractor purchase decisions...

Sometimes it's worth it to hire a land surveyor

No.....that would not have been a solution. I learned from others that he NEVER had sold any land. He owned another very large piece of land worth several million, and had repeatedly refused to sell.

2.3 GPM.......it ain't great, but it is what you have got, and depending on the cu.ft. of stored water in the well it may work for you.

Time for a new portable generator

You could also buy a very small (1,000W) inverter generator for the equipment that needs precise voltage/frequency, and a larger non inverter generator for everything else. That is what I have done.

Sometimes it's worth it to hire a land surveyor

In my case, only a few trees had been cut off the very end of the 99' strip, to enhance my ocean view. I would not have had the trees cut if I had known. Adjoining property (99' x 1800') had no structures, and was only marginally buildable, due to narrow width and required setbacks. Property was...

Sometimes it's worth it to hire a land surveyor

The most interesting issue in my case is that I have a CE degree, and surveying experience, although I never did practice as a surveyor. Point being, that on a fairly large piece of property it is easy to make a mistake on a simple walk through with a realtor, who THINKS he knows which markers...

Sometimes it's worth it to hire a land surveyor

Good point! I walked the in place acreage boundaries with my Canadian realtor. Boundary markers were all in, except that there was a 99' strip along one side that I later learned belonged to someone else. Boundary lines were exactly parallel, so the difference was not readily noticed from...

Yes.....but It is not likely that a corner 15' out of wack would create that problem, unless in a city environment.
