    New 4520 cab w/issues

I have the 4520 with cab. I was wondering if anyone has had these issues. When I turn the steering wheel it squeeks, I believe the rubber boot on the steering column is causing this. It is hard to shift to different ranges. I have even taken the cable loose and tried shifting it direct at...

Pictures of my dump trailer and shop.

Here are some pictures of the dump trailer I built. It was hit in the rear right after I got done by an 18 wheeler. The trailer didn't fair too bad but the 18 wheeler had to be towed off! I am now waiting to get it into tech school to put it on the frame machine to straighten it back out.

Hopefully this worked. I loaded some pictures of my new tractor with my 448 backhoe mounted that John Deere said would not work. The tractor is new. The loader and hoe was kept from my old 4520. I had to modify the brackets to make them fit the new cab tractor. Now all I have to do is...

    Trading for New 4520

I have decided to trade my 05 4520 John Deere open station for a new 4520 with cab. I looked at buying an aftermarket cab but after all said and done I would have about as much in it as I would for trade. Building a cab I determined would take too much time that I didn't have. I bit the...

I currently have the john deere 4520 open station tractor and I am looking at either building a cab or trading mine in on a new 4520 with cab. Backhoe  48 Backhoe/ Cab question?

I am entertaining the idea of building a cab for my tractor. Before I do it I was going to look into trading my jd 4520 for a 4520 jd w/cab. I am going to keep my loader and backhoe because the dealer said it would be cheaper that way because the backhoes were not bringing very much money...
