You need to clear the radiator from the backside as the fins get packed full of debris. It may look clear, but can you see light through it? If you can't see light through it, the fan can't pull any air through it either.

The two bolts were used to fasten my puller to the stump jumper. Then my puller pushed against the center of the gearbox shaft.

Yes^^^at least stand it up on the front end with the wheel in the air. With one rotary cutter, I drilled and tapped a 1/2-13 hole on each side of the nut that holds the SJ on. That way I could use my puller to pull it off. Then, just grease up a bolt and plug the hole for next time.

I would first suspect the linkage shaft that goes into the valve may have rusted. All it takes is a bit of moisture and not being used for a while. Keep spraying it and lightly tapping it with a hammer may help the lube to work in there. Good luck.

The OP should ask to see the pump taken apart. If the pump has a bunch of wear, those particles were fed through the oil passages and that is very bad.

Way, way long time ago GM had tried the plastic covered timing chain sprocket. After 80k miles or so, the plastic would start to come apart on the cam sprocket. Replacement new timing sets were metal. Sometimes a piece of the plastic would block the bypass in the pump slightly open, so at idle...

A pto shaft with a plain u-joint on each end works best if the angles of each joint is equal. So, with the hitch pin near the center of the pto shaft, as you turn, the u-joints will be at similar angles.

Yeah.....get that thing fixed ASAP. The phasing is wrong, the shaft may be bent, and at least one u-joint that is destroyed.

There has to be something going on with the gearbox to have these quick impacts stressing the bolt. Is there a missing gear tooth? A bad bearing? Debris getting in the teeth? Stump jumper not attached solidly?

If that bolt were meant to be a "shear bolt", there would be a snap ring to keep pto hub from coming off the gearbox.

The bolt is not being sheared. It is being killed by countless rapid lateral shock loads that fatigue the metal at the weakest point...the bottom thread. I wonder how close a fit the hub and shaft are? There should be no slop there. What actual diameter are the holes in the hub and shaft?

Using a 6** type Loctite and a grade 8 bolt would stop this problem. Heat would be needed to get it apart later.

I can see why they recommend a grade 8 bolt there. I'm thinking that bolt is to retain the clutch hub to the shaft, not a shear bolt, as that is why the clutch is there. If the clutch is functioning, something ODD is going on to break the bolts. Take a picture of the pto shaft for us to see.

Agree^^ on the "rattling" marks on the bolts. It looks like those bolts are being hammered from all directions...a lot. My cutters will only show the bolt with the one mark just showing it is trying to slightly shear. The OP's bolts have heavy wear all over them. I'm still wondering if the PTO...

The Hyundai Santa Cruz has an 8 speed automatic. Now that the Maverick has jumped in price to the Santa Cruz level, a person should compare both of those.

They had it in tow/haul mode which turns off the hybrid ability. Getting 14mpg towing that trailer and utv doesn't surprise me. That is a bunch of wind resistance to pull against for that little truck.

The OP is in Florida so there must be many golf car shops down there. The EZGO are built by Textron as is the Cushman line. They also make the Jacobson equipment.

My G series has no small pigtails like that on the battery. The mega fuse has a large cable coming into the bottom and 2 smaller pigtails like the OP has coming off the top.

I agree with CD that this job is not the one to goof up on. That being said, using 3/32 6011 as a root passes and 1/8 7018 cover passes would be my choice. Don't rush it and take time to clean between passes so it can cool a bit.

Did you reattach the supposed ground to something? If it was a ground, was it meant to ground to the frame/engine, or was it a ground to the cab?

Looking at the specs for that cutter, it looks like it has 5" of blade overlap and about 11,700 fpm tip speed. I doubt it would ever achieve a look like a finish mower being that it is a rough cut mower. I find that early grass tends not to cut as clean as later grass too.

I traded my 1999 TC33D on a Bobcat Toolcat 5610 and it has been great for me. Shorter turning, cab comfort, suspension, lifting power, and it still has a 3pt. The main drawback is it doesn't lift as high. Plowing snow is great with it. (y) New ones are the UW53.

It sounds like no radio....just bluetooth. I'm like you and don't do the bluetooth thing. Software upgrades for the vehicle would need a device and app to make the connection between truck and tower.

Did you see the speakers that mount in the dash (or elsewhere?) that are shown in the video? Edit About 6:15 in the video.

Many people use their smart phones to get their music etc. You can get the optional speakers that are made to sync to the phone through Bluetooth and an APP. There is a handy phone holder that allows the driver to see the screen while the Slate/phone is synced up.

That substantial roll bar also encompasses the side curtain airbags (and shoulder seat belts) that are mandated for rear passengers. It needs to be sturdy for that purpose. I'm sure the 2nd row seating package will cost a pretty penny as it must pass all mandates.

It looks like the frunk has enough room for our groceries under the hood. That would be handy to unload in the garage too.
