tree/post puller for invasive honeysuckle works great

would agree and I wish I had these skills. Many times over the years I have realized I chose the wrong profession/trade and have thought about going back to school for welding/fab/hydraulics/electric. I just did not have exposure/good teacher in these areas.

tree/post puller for invasive honeysuckle works great

This ^. Exactly correct! Just posted the same info. in a reply and did not see your post yet. In the hole left by the invasive I usually plant a native. dogwood, viburnum, patch of NWSG, or sometimes a mast tree. I just stack the carcasses in brushpiles which create great nesting areas and...

tree/post puller for invasive honeysuckle works great

Those vine type forms are probably the native honeysuckle. Lonicera sempervirens or L. periclymenum are native. I would hesitate to pull those native Honeysuckles. Honeysuckle (Lonicera periclymenum) - Woodland Trust There are also invasive honeysuckle such as my Lonicera japonica. It is...

tree/post puller for invasive honeysuckle works great

I just received it 2 weeks ago and only tried it for an hour on a few honeysuckle. one was massive and it took a couple back/forth to remove it but others were no issue at all. As I pull more I should figure out the easiest method. Yes, soil moisture would be a factor. I like to remove my...

tree/post puller for invasive honeysuckle works great

I have ACRES of invasive honeysuckle and autumn olive. I am eligible for various habitat restoration grants. Some of those grants request removal of invasive species and replacement with pollinators, native species, etc. etc. To remove invasive honeysuckle in the past, I would wrap a chain...

shorten the tongue and that would work. Thinking I am gonna need to build one,... because used ones are selling faster than I can find them.

WTB: narrow width, single axle trailer capable of #1000 firewood, non-road use. central PA

yes, TY, I do agree and understand that. As I previously mentioned when going down a steep slope with #1500 of trailer it pushes your rear end/rear tires. I go slow and have been really focusing on positioning my tractor so the weight does not push my rear tires off the trail. I will need to...

There was a local Amish place whose specialty was trailer building/metal shop. I had him build me a custom trailer over a decade ago. It has been outstanding. TY for understanding that my needs are not difficult,... just a 42"x72" or 4'x7' or 4'x8', single axle, narrow overall width...

HF opened a new store about 9 miles distant. I walk in, Manager standing there, 'how can i help you?'. I explain that I need to see the 4x8 folding trailer. 'Sorry, we no longer carry those in PA. Something about the title and road use.' ( I knew exactly to what he was referring and its not...

Like it. but that mesh, I just see me ripping the grommets on it as I load with wood. Why would they make a huge, heavy duty wagon like that one and only use fabric mesh for the sides...??? 🤷‍♂️. Maybe.... Thx!

WTB: narrow width, single axle trailer capable of #1000 firewood, non-road use. central PA

Good find. That cart may possibly work (horrible reviews on the tires). width is acceptable. Double axle usually only has minimal tongue weight. I am a good, safe driver. My slopes are steep. Instead of focusing on where the rear-est tires are tracking I really focus on making sure #1400 load...

thought about it and maybe. I have narrow trails and my tractors rear tires are at 60" on the outside edge. If I make the trailer too wide I know what is going to occur. I am going to be coming back with a full load of wood and forget that the trailer is much wider than my tractor, then I'm...

hey, good catch! Went back to the photo and read the fine print. The loader is Made in Korea, but not produced by KMW, my error. Its made by Ansung industries. See photo. Gosh those letters are small. So thats at least 3, maybe 4 different manufacturers of loaders for the Max 26xlt. I...

CK3510HST- is the pin sleeve on one threaded end of your OEM top link longer than the other?

sleeve is not removable, its welded inside the ball of the thread end. Good idea and wish it could be pushed out via a deep socket. You cant see the sleeve welds in the photos, my error for not initially describing it as welded.

Max 26 XLT - Anyone make their rear Ag tire/wheel wider? what are my options?

Interesting. I do see that they are both 16" wheels. The 1635 OEM is a 7x16 front and the Max 26 is a 9.5 x 16 rear. I suppose I would need to research the engineered load capacity of the front wheels but you did give me a couple ideas. Good info on the R4, I must have the Ag's too. TY.

CK3510HST- is the pin sleeve on one threaded end of your OEM top link longer than the other?

Interesting that your 4010SE top link does not have a sleeve at all, just the rotating ball. Yes, I did talk to the dealer and they thought both sleeves should be the same length so I believe they would swap it out for me. Good info TY Rad. (y)

Max 26 XLT - Anyone make their rear Ag tire/wheel wider? what are my options?

TY VQ. that was my first idea. I have flipped wheels on other units in the past with good success. However, I noticed that the entire lug bolt flange is welded off center to the actual wheel. If you look at the 4 sections where the lug bolt flange is welded to the actual wheel, they are not...
