That's pretty cool. 👍 I've got to say, I wasn't giving TYM enough credit in the past. I suppose, really, that I let my distaste for the local TYM dealer sour my opinion of the tractor. At least until I had some time with a T25, that thing really impressed me.

Not to mention it's nearing 3k hours, and still is regularly worked. That's a lot of hours on a small CUT, few see that much use as can be seen from the many threads on the topic. Hell, if a CUT sees 1k hours of use in a decade it's considered rather high, because these machines are so often...

    Simplicity Legacy Tractor?

Sorry I hurt your feelings friend, but while the Signature Series may not be small it certainly is fashionable. Simplicity Legacy Tractor?

I didn't say it wasn't capable, just that Deere pushes it as a boutique mower, which they do. Once you add a rear PTO and 3 point hitch it makes sense for most people to step up to a 1 series, which they often do. They could have engineered a workaround, but it wasn't worth the investment...

    Simplicity Legacy Tractor?

Ayuh, the subcompact killed off the heavy garden tractor. Absolutely slaughtered it. SCUT's are the reason Deere turned the X700 into a boutique mower, dropping the option of a loader. Simplicity went the opposite way, they gave the Legacy a slightly larger footprint, added a ROPS, and stuck a...

    Kubota or John Deer

Run it hot. Even when you're just messing around, doing loader work, you run it hot. These new machines have to be run at a high RPM or the foolish DPF system excretes a brick.

Show off your Yanmars! (Picture Thread)

Nice tractor! I see a fair number of the yellow and black Yanmars around here, and I really like them. The dealer is about 5-10 minutes away, and picked up Yanmar after the Cub Cadet deal folded. I'll be seeing Yanmar tractors for years to come, but the black and yellow was unique.

Wicked 55 root rake grapple on a 25HP compact?

This is more in line with what it's capable of; with that said, EA is a great manufacturer and if I hadn't bundled my grapple in at the dealer I would have gone with a Wicked.
  147. tacticalturnip

Wicked 55 root rake grapple on a 25HP compact?

Your CK2610 will run any hydraulic or loader attachment the other CK's will run; despite it's small engine the machine isn't a subcompact and you'd be limiting yourself with subcompact attachments.

    Adding 3rd function for grapple

I'll second the W.R. Long kit. My Kioti dealer recommends the kit over the Kioti 3rd function, and I trusted them; I've been quite pleased with it thus far! What's funny is that if I had to find a fault it would be the controls; I have the same complaint regarding the feel, and have been...

Yeah, same spot on the CK, except it's a poly tank instead of metal. I'd rather have saddled tanks with shields under them, like the DK has, but then that would make the CK about perfect, and we can't have that. 😂

    ELON MUSK'S NEW CAR

If I recall, wasn't Betamax actually a superior product, but Sony tried to sit high on a mountain of licensing? Thus the market went to the Phillips(?) VHS format because it was cheaper. Cheaper to license, cheaper to purchase, and inevitably, cheaper picture quality. I recall reading this a...

Why hasn't Yanmar been more active in the USA?

I'm glad I could help! Although to be fair, in this market it's hard to make a bad choice. Outside of an occasional lemon, the worst you can do is overpay for a machine you'll still enjoy operating.
  177. tacticalturnip

Why hasn't Yanmar been more active in the USA?

If you Google his Kioti it's about as old a machine as Kioti gets in the U.S. market; your machine, with it's newer age and greater popularity in this market should make getting parts a lot easier, even as time passes.

@WinterDeere you know how you get around a potential issue with the auto-throttle? Don't offer it, or make it an add-on. 😂 I could do without certain features, so long as I get the stronger axles, 3 range hydrostatic, air seat, etc. I've never had auto-throttle, though I've considered adding...
