It could be that the cylinder can not shift with the weight of the mower and sitting stationary. If it was raised up a little it might shift or if the tractor was moving.

I would suspect there is debris in the tank that is cutting off your fuel supply. When you kill the engine, it can float away. Could be you are pulling air as well. Inspect fuel lines and connection points closely.

I ran them for 15 years in my 53 Ford truck at night and never replaced light. We never had issues with the tractors either but rarely needed the lights on them.

We used to put 8v batteries on all our 6v systems. It made them much more reliable and no conversion kit needed.

Voltage regulator has been known to cause this symptom. I used one for a 1970 Toyota pickup on my lk2554 and it has been working perfectly. The plug and wiring was the same. It should be the same as yours as well.

There was a cylinder that Branson will send out under warranty. It is for the 20 series but I do not know how to tell which one. You might ask Dave if it is the one they are replacing at no charge. I do not think it includes labor.

Mine did not either. I added a solenoid valve to tie the ports together and created a way for the head to float. It will only raise to the height I energize the solenoid but I always have it rotated up before I flip the switch. Then it moves up and down no problem.

Float allows the head to follow the contour of the ground without having to adjust the valve. If you have ever used the float function on your loader it is the same idea.

Yes fluid is getting in but not getting out. That is why you see the hose flex. If the top link is working properly I would try the remote it is plugged into. That would eliminate any valve issue.

How many sets of remotes do you have? Is it possible you are connected to one port of two different valves? If not do you hear anything when you try to move the cylinder? Possible that a quick connect has failed.

Yours is a priority valve that has a diverter to enable changing flow. It is for your power steering. It makes sure there is always flow for the power steering. The diverter part only changes what is left after power steering to the port that feeds your loader or 3 point.

Yes, you need the PB sleeve for that valve. Ptsg is correct.

There is two problems. One is the swing mount bolt hits the QH and keeps it from sitting properly in the hitch. The other is the PTO can hit the top of the QH when you go over uneven ground. Too many modifications needed to make it work and was not worth it for me.

You could call the guys at Michigan Iron. They are really good people to deal with and will have a better idea. I would take it off and clean it real good looking for any blockage.

Most places that repair hydraulic cylinders will be able to get you the correct seal. Just take your old one in with you and they can match it up.

Branson is only the only tractor that I am aware of that does not use a computer to control the engine and uses a very simple way of meeting emissions standards. They may not have the size you are needing though.

Weight does help improve traction. You will be able to go through more muck with a heavier tractor. However, when you get stuck you will really be stuck! Best to wait for things to dry out before risking it unless there is no other option.

I have always used a big screwdriver and a hammer. Just tap on the nut in the direction to unscrew to loosen then unscrew by hand.

Everything was open. The failure for plugs and radiator looks like it was from tap water in the system. I will flush with some automatic dishwasher powder to clean system well. Once it is cleaned good and determine no more leaks I will fill with antifreeze.

I have a spreader on my Branson 4815 cab right now. It works fine. I just leave the back window open to reach the spreader handle. The only potential issue is do not raise 3pt or the spreader will take out the back window. :oops:

I agree with others probably cavitation. But if you end up needing a pump they offer a upgrade for your tractor to 10 GPM Pump. I did that upgrade on my 2554 and it made all the difference in the world with my hydraulics. I can get you the part number if you need it.

The delete does not void the warranty on the Branson. You do not have to put the filter back on to take it to the dealer. I would run it for at least 5 more hours to see if it clears up before taking it in for service.

Lou, I was able to find a Yanmar water pump for $115. The saving grace for the engine is they use it in a lot of different equipment. Boats seem to be a popular use. Parts for the engine is not terrible. Branson wanted about $250 for the pump. Still better than what they did to you! :ROFLMAO:

I have not had to deal with large rocks like many here have. But what about renting a skid steer with a jack hammer attachment to break the rocks down to a size you can move with your loader? And or renting a backhoe large enough to remove the stumps?

I would test using one of your loader connections. Rig up the fittings for your gauge so you can put in line with your curl function. Then you can use the valve to take readings without damaging your system. You could have a piece of trash holding the relief open. Just a thought.

Every dog I have owned has been trained to stay on the property and can go outside by themselves anytime they want. They don’t run off because they love being with us and want to please us. The Coyotes have come up to the property line but seem to respect our dogs territory and turn away.

I only use 4WD when I need it because it tears up the ground more. 90% of the time I have no issues with it disengaged. But then again most of the farm tractors I grew up on were 2WD. The 4WDs were center pivot not front end assist.

Real good. More often then not rim slipping in the tire gives people the illusion something is wrong with transmission. Especially when it will move in FWD. Hopefully it will be something simple.

Most of the ones I have seen are pried off. They can not be reused. Please be careful doing this! It can create expensive issues fast.

First welcome to TBN! If I understand, it will move with FWD Engaged? If so maybe check air pressure in rear wheel if they are loaded. There has been several times the wheels will spin inside the tire. Increasing air pressure usually fixes the problem.

I had to go look as I hadn't considered needing one for lifting. There is about 1/2 inch clearance on the lift side so a properly designed one would work. If I built one I would use 1/2 flat bar for top and bottom with a 5/16 square nut cut to fit and welded to the bottom piece. No washer needed...
