I hopped in my 98 dodge ram ( 5.9L gasser v8, 4wd, auto, air ) to come home from work tonight.
She's been a 100% straight forward truck. only ever had to change a battery, rear brake cyls, and a starter on her plus things like oil change...
in the past week I have had to replace the fuel lines in my farm CUV and on my string trimmers. new gas made the old lines crumble. string trimmer is 1yr old.. so it should have been made with a resistant line.. go figure.
can't wait till it eats up my mower and chainsaw.

got a zerox xc1040 copier that just stopped putting print on copies.
It's an older unit.. say from 98 or so.. but been a good copier.
we repalce the drum when signaled, same as the tonor.

ok.. got the winxp netbook tonight.. got hom.. plugged into the dsl model.. got ont he internet fine.. after I got it all setup, I put int he wep key for the wifi connection.. that worked.. tested by unplugging network cable.

unit is a dixie.. no idea of age.. but from looking at metal.. would say 10+ years at least...gearbox looks decent inside and drivelie is tight.. no real...
noticed it is staying in 1st till oike 3krpm if you try to use more than normal throttle on take off.. then really accelerates like it should when it shifts gears. if you take off from a stop lamp normally, it shifts about 2krpm.. and otherwise feels normal.

At work one of our jobsite foremen has an older dell latitude 610 ( I believe ).. is an older pentium III 1.2ghz, but originally came with XP, and has otherwise been a decent machine for them to beat up onthe jobsite. Has a usb2 card in it's pcmcia slot as the usb broadband modem would not work...

I've been seeing small 'cars'.. 3 wheeled.. 2 in front.. 1 in rear... has the front end of the size of a small car.. like a MG.. rear wheel looks like the back end of a motorcycle. Has seats and steering wheel and controls like a car.

Wife has an old ford aerostar minivan ( 3L v6) that is cargo'ed out. We use it to haul musical gear to gig's. Gets run about 1 per month. Long story short. aftermarket (sony) cassette deck in it went bad and killed the battery dead flat. Amazingly, the 39$ walmart battery came back to life...
