on my 317, my engine idles at normal rpm with the throttle at half open, and every five seconds sounds like it goes under load, starts to skip, and goes right back to normal idle for 5 seconds. is this gov. problems? i plan on getting the carb tuned up this spring. any help is greatly appreciated!

I have a question, is a steering column from a 318 the same as one that is from a 430? I may put one from a 318 in my 317, but after looking at BobK's on MTF, its going to be a very complicated project if they are the same.

Hey everyone, I have been thinking about building a stack for my 317, but i'm unsure of how I can make an elbow. I'm pretty sure exhaust pipe is 1 1/2. We have tons of pipe at our shop, I'll have to find some. Any ideas if how i could make one? Or could I get one at TSC for example??
