    High Hours LS Tractors

Interested in hearing who out there has a high hours LS tractor and how it's holding up. I'm interested in particular in G series tractors (G3033/3038) since I have a g3038 but all would be interesting to hear about.

    1736 Filter Location

I am ready to do the first hydro/transmission fluid change on my 1736. I found the location of the vertical canister filter and have a replacement fliter and 9 gallons of the permatran 821xl ready to go. I have not been able to find the location of the screen that needs to be cleaned, and the...

    Turn PTO by hand

On my gear tractor I can turn my PTO shaft by hand (with engine off ) to line up spline with implement shaft. Can't do that on my g3038h, even with tractor in neutral. Is this typical on hydro tractors?

    1736 vs 1742 and dl 120 vs dl 125

I was thinking about an LS 3135 cab, but now I'm looking at getting either a 1736 cab or a 1742 cab in the next few days since the price difference is only a few grand more (at least for the 1736) and the Massey is arguably a better, or at least better known, brand. Two questions. 1. Other...

    XG 3135 vs Massey 1736

I'm debating between an LS 3135 and a Massey 1736, both cab varieties. The Massey is only about 2K more than the LS, has a little less spec'd loader capacity (1900 vs 2100) but higher lift, significantly more 3 point capacity (2800 vs 1800) and a Mitsubishi engine, with 2 more hp, vs an LS...

    New XG and 3100 Series

I have not looked at the LS website for a while, but I did today and I noticed that there is a new XG series and a new 3100 series. The XG Series appears to basically be the G Series with a new hood and tier 4 compliant engine. That makes sense. The 3037 already had a tier 4 compliant engine...

    SSQA Forks

I need some inexpensive but sturdy SSQA forks for my new G3038h. I have been looking at the Titan Attachment brand on Amazon and those are the cheapest SSQA that I can find. Does anybody have experience with those or want to recommend another option.

Buying 1736 - Concern Regarding Tier IV

I was about to pull the trigger on a 1736. However, I have some concern about something I read somewhere about the regen process. By way of background, my wife will use the tractor daily - basically as a glorified wheelbarrow - to clean stalls and dump manure from the loader into a dumpster...

    Removing Quaking Aspen

My wife and I have a small property in West Michigan where we keep a few horses. We also have 100 ac or so in northern Michigan. The land up north is basically just a hunting cabin/land, but it has traditionally been logged every 15 years or so to remove the aspen. This provides a little...
