I've been looking at PTO adapters to attach my Deere #5 sickle mower to my Deere 4300. Can someone tell me what "Over Running Couplers" are used for?

My tractor is 200 miles away, so I can't just look at it . Does anyone know what size the quick couplers are, where the loader connects to a Deere 4300. I'm guessing 1/2", but they may be 3/8".
