    hydro leak, brake job too?

    I found the source of the hydraulic fluid leak on my b1550 today. It's drippring off the brake shaft right where the arm attaches. Or it could be the gasket behind the cover. This is on the left side. It has wet brakes. I'm wondering if there is anyway to fix this without having to drain...

    another newbie innovation...

    I built this contraption er attachment, out of ABS pipe, and duct tape to string deer fencing without a second pair of hands to help. It worked quite well. I'd like to know how others have dealt with it? I think the same arrangement may work for wire fencing if one just just metal pipe...

    Tires  ag tires mounted backwards...

    I just picked up a small tractor. First thing I noticed was that the rear tires (ags) were on backwards. Could there have been a reason for this, other than owner ignorance? and should I fix immediately or can it wait till winter when down for other other work? thanks, dave
