My new Axis P5655-E has been up on the tower in front of the house for a few weeks now and I am still in the process of checking it out. I was scanning and panning yesterday and saw this helicopter so I continued to follow it with the camera. Nothing that dramatic.

This summer I installed 16 "road" signs that represent our 14 grandchildren and 2 great grand children. Lot of development work left to do in each area (like raising the "mountain" and planting the orchard.) Here's my video showing the signs.

Still working on getting my winter snow related videos out there. Here's the latest one.

In this video I mounted the GoPro camera first on the frame of the snow blower to get a view of the auger (need a wiper for any future tries) and then on the deflector part of the chute. That worked out pretty good. Kubota BX snowblower mounted camera action views (after blizzard) - YouTube

This was yesterday March 8. We had high winds and drifting snow. At times we were in whiteout conditions and that's probably why the driver didn't see the snow drift. Anyway I recorded the action that took place after he got stuck. Here's the video.

I cleared out just enough snow to get the truck out. Will deal with the rest tomorrow.

Our local airport is in the line of sight from home so this video shows me using the BX and also shows equipment clearing snow at the airport at the same time.

Got another attachment to add to my bucket list, (I posted several other DIY bucket attachments over the last few years on TBN).

I bought this some time ago but forgot where. I am using it in a DIY gadget and I need to know what it is and ideally what it is normally used for. It's about 3-1/2 x 6 inches and fairly heavy galvanized sheet steel. It looks like a Simpson strong-tie product but I checked and it doesn't appear...

Most winters the BX gets a good workout but not so this year. Here's a set of photos taken each day from Feb 11 to Mar 11. Temperature each day (in Celsius) is included. This is the most easterly city in Canada - St. John's, Newfoundland.

It took me two sessions to get rid of the snow after the 2nd blizzard of the season. I posted a video (on TBN) of the first clearing effort earlier but I'm late getting this video out.

During the blizzard yesterday I posted on TBN two videos of the blizzard taking place (mainly morning time). Here's some clips taken during the afternoon of the blizzard. All together we had about a foot of snow. Big factor was the wind that gusted up to about 100 km/h - 60 mph.

Picked up some of the activity on the security camera and the rest (clearing my driveway) with the regular camcorder. We had about 34 cm of snow last night and got some drifts over 2 feet.

Good to have a backup operator available.

We had snow and fairly high winds yesterday so I cleared out the driveway this morning getting ready for some family arriving from the mainland (by truck).

Video shows how I replace the snowblower shear pin on my BX - the video finishes up with some snow clearing with the new pin in place. This is the second of two videos I've done on shear pin replacement.

Just finished this modification.

Main point of the video is the homemade cover to protect the joysticks and stabilizer controls - this makes it easier to install the tarp and reduces accidental activation of the controls. Also the cover improves safety with kids around.

Here's my son and grandson operating a DJI Inspire drone on a beach not too far from my house. I also have a drone and hope to get some tractor footage this spring and summer.

My son was out on the road to the Cape Race, Newfoundland light house (that's where the Titanic made radio contact after iceberg hit) with the intentions of getting some drone shot video footage. He got stuck in the snow and with no cell phone coverage in that area he set up a makeshift antenna...

Late getting this one together but here it is. If you get to near the end of the video (nighttime part) you will notice I switched to FEL only. That was because the snowblower chute got damaged running up against that pile of fairly hard snow. (That snow was plowed up when I was away)

Had a bit of fun with this. Got the idea from seeing videos of the garlic being shaken by hand while in a glass jar.

Working on installing a new linear actuator on the snowblower and doing other maintenance so cleared up the driveway with the bucket this morning.

Most of the trees were blown down during wind storms over a few years. Took the footage a while ago so just got the editing done. I cut all the wood up and gave it to a wood burning neighbour :)

These wild ducks drop by once in a while. This morning they got a surprise as the pond had a thin layer of ice...:)

A relative wanted me to give this a try. It worked ok but next step is to get a jack hammer.

I mounted the GoPro camera on the wall in one corner of the room and set it to take a photo every minute. Ended up with about 900 photos and edited what I had down to about 180 photos. Forgot to turn the camera on/off a few times but overall it worked out pretty good. :)

I'm trying to get a small potato garden ready so I can plant asap. Beside dealing with lots of rocks I had to remove a pretty big tree stump at the corner of the proposed garden. The video tells the story.
