That's why it's a guesstimate. We all use our experience to get a feel before diving in. Not really here to argue about the estimate. Looking to see if this is a common failure of tier 4 engines.
I don't know, Kubota dealer has not opened engine yet. Fuel pump no longer drawing fuel, guessing the timing gear damaged due to grinding noise when trying to start. Guessing fuel rail and injectors may be damaged. Lot's of guessing at the moment.

My 1,200 hour Kubota M5-111 engine locked-up while raking hay. Has anyone else had any engine issues with a new (3 year old) Kubota? Of course the warranty expired about 4 months back!
