I use the Duke dogproof traps also. I fill them with whole corn as that is why they are at the deer feeders.

Maybe three here.

Most we have seen at one time is three. I put out 1 cup split in two feeders so can not be many birds.

While at my son's house lost power 10:30. Went home morning after the storm passed Never lost power there. 3" rain and a few small limbs in the yard. We got by very good.

We live east of Amite City, La, son lives east of Independence. Not much different but is a nice house.

We live 110 miles from the coast. It will pass just to left of us so we going to sons house this afternoon. We live in a doublewide, son has a good house! We had good many trees down for Hurricane Ida, none close to the house, not taking the chance.

I put it in my tractor rear tire, does not leak anymore.

I have just one in my shed this year, I just leave the roll up door open till it is dark. So far that has worked, I did hang a old DVD disk just inside the door to maybe scare them from going in. time will tell.

Has increased here a little. I have two feeders (3/4 cup each) changing every three days to keep them fresh. Now may have to increase the amount I put in them.

I think I have gotten a couple ticks from off the cat. Twice had one on my arm as the cat was next to me on the swing. One I did not see till I was inside(on my shirt) and another on pants. Make me check myself better! Never had on on me before the cat arrived.

I have one cat, he just came here one day. Wife put food out for him (outside cat only). He is afraid of anything different, neighbor or delivery person comes by he runs. He has gotten use to us and likes to swing with us. I not for or against cats, he has been a good cat.

Good that I have some wild berries, the deer will not leave the thorn less blackberries grow. I need to put a fence or hot wire around them. Have not seen that they are eating the wild berries. My blueberries are not making much, young trees.

The first pair showed on the 3/20, only one feeder out now till more show. Rudy throated.

Definitely the float lever, sends the level of fuel to the gauge.

We had one female show for the last four days, only she her a couple times each day.

Have not seen any hummer birds here, need to put out feeders as it will be getting warm. Near freezing tow days ago, today will be near 80. Do not expect very much cold weather soon.

It has been wet for weeks down south and the humming birds have been feeding all day. I usually change the feeders out every three days with water still visible just old. Now I have to change because the drank them dry. Also they like cucumber flowers right close to the feeders.

It does not seem to slow their feeding but does get into the feeders. I have put covers on the feeders which seem to be to small. So I put a small child umbrella on one that protects that one.

Three at one of the feeders this morning, two at the same time as they flew another came in to feed. I can not see the other (I have two feeders) at the same time. Change out feeders every three days, they are not drinking all the water, keeping it fresh.

Hard to say what I have read they make nest of what is available where there is a good food source. Just my thoughts. There has been no activity at the nest since the thunder storms any rain. There are several birds feeding at the feeders, hard to say how many the way they fly in and out.

Caught this deer playing with turkeys on still pictures, so I put the camera on video. That is the rear of my property where the rain runoff goes. After a few weeks with out rain there is very little water.

After several rainy days I was able to set up my camera only to find the nest is empty. Hope they left the nest and the weather (windy and thunder storms) did not harm the babies.

My wife found one years back at our first home. After a hail storm she never found it. I noticed a hummer up on a tree and it looked like it might be a nest, looking with binocular I found the nest. The picture was taken with a sony camera with 30X zoom on tripod.
