    David Brown 990 ???

Re: David Brown 990 ??? 3 pt The water pump I ordered fit and worked great. I thought I was ready to go until I tried to lower the 3 pt. It is all the way up and will not go down. I switched the valves on the left side behind your foot when seated. The loader works fine, so I'm sure the control...

    David Brown 990 ???

I have a David Brown 990 and I need a water pump for it, I think. There are a lot of different ones avaliable for this tractor and I am not sure which one is correct. They all look similar, just have different numbers. I just got this tractor and would like to fix the few minor mechanical...

    Millcreek manure spreader?

I am thinking about buying a Millcreek 37+ manure spreader. I have not seen one yet, the nearest dealer is about 120 miles away. He has one in stock. From what I have seen from pics they seem to be pretty good units. They have poly floors, and the inside is coated with spray in bed liner. I have...

Building a pole barn, but what to do about doors?

I like metal frames for the doors as well. Mine are out of 2.25" 12ga tubing, to match the rest of the barn, but smaller tubing would be fine. I went that big to be able to use 2x rough cut inside the frame.

    And another barn

I know there are a lot of barn builds on here already. I did not want to hijack one of them with too many of my own pics. I have posted a few of them in some threads already. I figured I would start one myself. I looked at a lot of buildings to get ideas, on here and in person. I built this in...

    And another born

Here are a few inside the tack room as well. The ceiling is still not finished in there. We are going to tear down an old barn soon, and I will use some of the "weathered" tin from it for the ceiling.

    Help with barn decisions?

Here are a few pics of mine. It is 30x48. Trusses on 12" centers, 3 12'x12' stalls, 12'x12' enclosed tack room with loft above, 12'x16' hay storage area. The open space is 18'x36'. I use it for washing, shoeing, and taking care of the horses. I could easily close it in and use for whatever, but...

    truck auxiliary fuel tank

I am considering an aux. fuel tank for my truck. The truck is a diesel. I already have a toolbox in the truck bed now so bed space loss is not an issue. Probably 75% of the time it has a GN traier hooked up anyway. I have been looking at the tank/toolbox combos from Northern. I was wondering if...

    Recent Pole Barn Cost?

I built a 48'x30" back in the spring. I had the folks I bought the material from put up the posts, trusses, and roof. I also had someone finish the concrete for me. The rest I did myself with some help from family. Total cost was about $25,000. If I would have not built the stall and tack room...

    Comparison  Too many choices!!!!

I have been lurking here for a while, and finally decided to join. I have learned a lot of great information here. I still can not decide which tractor I want though. I am looking in the 40 hp range, and there are way too many choices. I have a good Kubota dealer about 20 min from home and a...
