Duplicolor DE1620 Chevrolet Orange is a pretty good rattle can match. Actually a nice paint for a rattle can. There are two Chevrolet Oranges and the other one is a poor match. Available at O'Reillys.
Rustoleum Deep Slate 312818 works fairly well for the grey.
In April I got a Takeuchi TL8R2 track loader to supplement the Kioti RX7320. Being on 60 acres there are a ton of varied tasks and the Tak has been a great fit. Of course the first thing I did was to back it into a tree. Always good to get the first ding out of the way so ya don't have to worry...
I have had an RX7320 open station (my second Kioti) for about three years and am happy with the machine. I recently discovered a problem with corrosion under the instrument cowl. The tractor lives inside but the odd days left out in the rain and washing were apparently enough to introduce a...
For some unexplained reason I have conceived a desire to learn TIG welding. Having watched every TIG video of Jody and This Old Tony at least twice it just looked so appealing and elegant that I finally pulled the trigger on an Everlast 210 EXT when they took a pretty big price drop just before...
Looking for feedback on this welder. Want to get into TIG as a hobbyist and it looks pretty slick. Have been looking at Everlast products and they look great but for half the money it looks hard to beat even with a warranty that is 3 years as opposed to 5 years. Don't think I can find much...
Switch was 12 bucks or something Amazon Prime. Stubby in back and a 1/2" hole accommodates it. Picture of a spare switch in metal. I'm using the diverter so the switch just activates the relay and doesn't need to carry much current. I have used a diverter on my last two tractors. True third...
I like to lurk this forum to see various projects so I thought I'd post my last ones. Inside work for the winter time. Never been a "welder" just a "sticker togetherer" but am inspired to improve my technique. Am at the point where some welds lay down beautifully but then on the next one I'm...
Hoping for a deep thought. Picked up a newer generation Lincoln 225 amp AC welder off of Craigslist. It was obviously barely used, came with 20 lbs. of 7018, helmet, gloves all of which were like new. It had been sitting in a shed for a few years so I took it apart, blew the detritus out...
Ok, I was concerned about the selector valve being exposed to tall grass, brush etc. Kioti left me a couple of holes in the loader sub-frame which I drilled out and tapped to 7/16ths X 14. The sub-frame is harder than Chinese algebra and I was unable to get my good BluePoint tap through drilled...
I have been lurking around here for years and always find useful and interesting things but I don't usually post too much. Not sure if the pics are ok, might have been better to knock down the file size.
Rolled it off the truck yesterday. Big excitement around the homestead. This rig will be...
Looking for the wisdom of the group on a new Kioti RX7320 or a used Kubota M8560 for almost exactly the same dough.
The Kubota is 4 years old, 100 hr cream puff with weights and pallet forks.
The Kioti is specd. new.
Both are open station power shuttle. I love the looks of the Kubota but...
