Got my LK2554 new about 2000 and finally joined a tractor forum. I'm no mechanic so as she ages, I'll have questions. Come from a long line of Iowa farmers, but our family was the first to move to the city where I was born. Now in central Colorado, retired, and loving all 9000' on our hill.

I couldn't find this having been covered in Search but am I the only one who can't remove the +/- cables on this model? I can't imagine why Kioti couldn't have spared another four or five inches of cabling so a guy could pull the battery forward and have good access to the posts. Did I miss...
