Battery charged to 13+v, unplugged alt. Start & run 2k+ rpm check a/c v output= 45v seems good? Reconnect & start, batt light off. I’ve tried cleaning up that alt connector which is burnt up a little & will consider options for renewing at least the spades…? I cleaned up the ground to frame...
Ok I got it, I don’t/won’t pull the battery terminals when running. That being said, I’m still stuck with my charge light/charging system funky. I can pull the alternator & hopefully get it checked but at a JD dealer or a car parts store? Too continue…
Long time with light on, then off, then on? Put a new interstate battery in last year. I ran a small sprayer for 2+hrs then it sat for 4 hrs then went to start…stone dead so I charged overnight & just checked at 2k rpm- 12.1v at battery? Any ideas?

I have a JD4110 compact/20hp hst w/turf tires and width at rear is 4' and rear lift is 1150 lb. I want to use it to loosen and move some dirt around a new "last fall" dirt yard-1/2 acre then york it. I'm looking at a woods gb48(428lb) or "possibly" a Frontier BB2066(500lb). I've never used a BB.
