Well I finally had time to put it on my trailer. I had to relocate my delta chain box to the side to keep the winch in the middle, but the truck bumper will still miss it.
I got a shelby 3400LB manual 2 speed with brake and put 3/8" cable on it. Should work good for what I need it for.
Well I did! There was not much holding where it broke. (broke behind the door of the lock) The dealer could not fish it out, I took it home and removed the switch, and I did not have any dental tools so back to the dealer. He finally backed it out so my pleirs could grab it. That save me $25 for...
I have a 18' dove tail flatbed. I have thought about installing a winch on it. I would like one with the controls attached to the winch, I really don't need a long cord for the swicth, self contaned uint. I have power at the bumber of my truck (#6 welding cable to the battery, used for charging...
We awhile back you guys told me about the in line screen on my 4300. Did the service and it was not there. I called the dealer and he got it in the shop. They found it. it went right though the tube into the box below and stoped, so no damage to the tranny. he also said the screen was clean. I...

It's called a speed mover and a few other names that I know of. This unit is 4' wide. I found a place that sells them. Now instead of the box blade wooptdooes this speed mover can level faster & easyer than the BB. A 3 x 8" HYD clyinder does all the work.
Is this of any interest to you guys?

Has any one pulled a 2-14 plow with a 4300? I have a 1-14 that I used behind a 755 and 855, that was a good match. the 4300 is 1000lbs heaver, about the same weight as the old fords, except I have FWA. I think it should handle it?
Well Kadonte built his top link for alot less. Thanks for the idea kadonte! I built mine aswell, Show and tell isin't it! I have about $160 in it, everything is new. use a 2 x 8 cylinder. It sure works nice when added to a quick hitch, does wonders with a box blade. this board is great.
I have the Folding ROPS on my 4300, they are 91" off the ground, to tall of a 7' garage door. I suppose if you put a back hoe on you would need the extra height so you didn't bang your head. The only thing I don't like is the rops. A friend stoped by and looked at it, he said he would take them...
I want some opinions!
My first tractor was a JD 755- 20hp-15pto. it pulled a landpride 15-50" just fine, plowed ground it was all she wanted. The next tracor was a 855- 24hp-19pto, it did not no there was a tiller back there (same tiller).
