Little over a month ago I had the fracking done, & it's a lot better probably about 4 gpm. I can pump it full flow for 34 minutes & get about 400 gals. before going dry, it will fill back up in a little over an hr.

Yup if the axe is sharp & your are good with an axe. I wasn't very good with it. Don't think it would work on 1 inch 4 wire hose though, but we never blew any of those on the Prentice 410.

Believe it or not an axe works great if you have something solid to lay the hose.

I used these when I did my trailer, have to predrill & they cut there own threads...

If you paint with Rustoleum get some hardener, paint sets up quicker & adds a bit of durability.

This almost identical to our setup.

Ordered a 3 point & PTO kit so I guess it's the JD.

Any thoughts?

Tiller for JD X485 or Terex PT30? Terex only has 10GPM aux. so I'm pretty limited, unless someone knows of more sources. Pretty easy to find a 4 ft. tiller for the JD but then I would have to put PTO & 3 point on it.

Does a X485 use the same codes? I was getting 2 long & 2 short today, but cleared after a restart.

The well guy said $3700 to frack, I'll give it a shot I guess. It's not worth much the way it is now.

2-3 GPM flowing well would have been a dream for me.

The farm where I grew up had 4 hand dug wells 18 - 25 ft. deep, one was flowing nonstop for close to 100 years.

That thought about dynamite had crossed my mind. Not gonna though.

That's how my 100' ft. well is, it will put out at least 600 gal. per hr.

Last summer I had another well drilled, 275' deep & ended up with a 1 1/2 GPM. I was hoping for something close to my other well that's about 250 ft. away. That one is 110' deep, 8' to rock, new one 275' deep & 50' to rock.

My PT 30 Terex has joy sticks, no problems with that so far. When I drove truck hauling wood we had a 410 Prentice loader with joy sticks no problems with them in the ten years I ran it.

I'd have to go about 120 miles for a dealer. I tried a Hustler once but didn't really care for it. Guy down the road bought a Hustler & he loves it, but he coming from a 42 MTD throw away mower.

I would have thought sealed bearing would be the way to go. I bought 10 sealed ones to put in & 10 originals. I doubt if I'll put enough hours on it now to have to change them again, old age is creeping in.

Tracks are good & the front & rear idlers are good, just the bogies that are bad. The seals must be crap & let water in. The bearings aren't sealed.

What's your typical bearing life hours? My PT30 has 980 hrs. & needs over half of them changed.

Yea it was 10 1/2 years for me, at least that's how our math worked when I was in school 50 yrs. ago. I only have a few I look for them.
