Im not sure where you live, but it appears you dont stay below freezing all winter long. Floating the tractor arms when the ground isn't frozen will result in rolling up dirt. With your ground soft and only an inch or two of snow, you might better off backblading the driveway. The plow wont Dig.

I see on your assembly, the Pats slide into your arms. Your arms have a sleeve to accept them. What i have seen are the Pats that straddle over the existing arm with hole and bushing. I believe that's why the guy on the video talked about rotation.

Looking at the video i watched, they appear the same. The issue was that it was very hard to keep the Pats from rotating since they are bolted on. Also, the Pats added more length to the arms. Probably never sn issue, but its a point.

Tractor chains are heavy. Driving them on, like in this video will almost guarentee they go on tight and centered. If they were not specifically sized for your tire size, you may need snow chain tools to modify the spacings of the crosschains. Obviously they need modifying as the sidechains...
