Thank you good advice I also need a suction cup install tool which I just ordered. That will be the trick I bet since I will be able to hold the glass with one hand and use a tool to hold the rubber seal up so the glass slides in easily.

I figured it out. I had the chain box overfilled and it was leaking. I also used a shaft to bearing seal called FAS LOK 80 that I got at the bearing shop. Lesson learned about overfilling chainbox for me.

Now I see what you are saying. The red lube was used to lubricated the shaft to slip into the bearing.

I think you are correct I just came inside looking at the bearing I thought the bearings were supposed to be sealed but oil is leaking between the seals from both sides of the bearing now I am at a lose of what to do.

I didn't put any grease in the sealed bearing I never do. It never made sense to me to force grease in a sealed bearing

Here are pics of all the parts and the position of the leak. I wont have room to place a bearing seal that I can see so I will need another option either sleeve or some sort of silicon like seal put between the shaft and the bearing what do you think?

Thanks for the advice I may try that. I am draining oil now and will post another pic of the chain box and the bearing so everyone can see where the leak is coming from.

I am thinking I should put grease inside the sprockets and chain housing to lube it so it wouldn't leak. unless someone else has a better idea

Yes 80w90w gear oil is what the manual calls for. But it is leaking bad so I have to do something else. I am wondering if pack it with grease around the chain and sprockets it would work, my only concern is the chain tensioner. It is metal to metal.

No is that a thicker grease? I am wondering if the shaft has worn slightly and the grease is flowing bewtween the shaft and the inner bearing.

Reinstalled new sealed bearing still leaking, anyone else ever have a problem like this?

Need some advice on this one I just replaced both bearings on my YKMT43 rototiller. However the pillow block bearing that I purchased is leaking through the bearing. I ordered the correct PN I believe is there an option that will make the bearing sealed? Here are some pics.

I was able to find a YKMT43 rototiller the 2000 rpm for my YM 146 Yanmar. Tiller had some leaks around the pillow block bearing so I am replacing those now. It came with a manual so I have the diagrams. Has anyone else ever did maintenance on one of these?

I also installed a rear LED work-light on the fender. Yanmar looks like they made the fender to add a light since they have an extra hole with a grommet through the fender and under the fender for the wire. I wired it to my head lights which are also custom LED with a plasma cut grill.

Fuse keeps blowing on fuel pump curcuit. Has anyone else had this problem with a fuel pump curcuit. I have a YM146 also know as the GT14. Just wondering if this is a common problem before I start to trouble shoot. Never hurts to ask before you jump in.

I have Black sludge in Hyd Loader Lines and Valve assy. I have cleaned the valve. But how could I clean the lines. The loader I have has the hydraulic fluid inside one of the arms of the loader intself. I think it is a YFL-140 and it runs off a Hyd pump driven by the front PTO.
