Loader 1025r loader arms not working together

I’ve snapped a control bar on my 4120. Solid bar that broke cleanly behind the arm so you couldn’t tell it was busted until removing it. I blame myself for picking something beyond the FEL capacity.

    Finally in—my new RTV1100C

I’m only plowing for myself and make my own pace, so no high speed plowing necessary. Still, I can see how a flap could be handy. Happy New Year!

Thanks! Did not know about the adjustments. Will need to look into that since it drops like a rock when you double tap down. Just need some colder temps and snow. The gravel driveway is pretty soft still.

Best method to clean older 5 gal. Diesel cans (plastic)

Thanks everyone. Sounds like I don’t need to make it more complicated than it needs to be. Blast it with a pressure washer, rinse with some gas, let dry thoroughly.

Best method to clean older 5 gal. Diesel cans (plastic)

I have two yellow John Deere diesel jerry cans that contain fuel that’s at least ten years old. The cans have the old style nozzle and vent arrangement which I much prefer, so I’d like to bring them back into service. My concern is that they’ve been sitting for so long, there’s bound to be a...

That’s encouraging, thanks! I’ve been thinking about various add-ons including that protective screen. Will probably let the steam evaporate from my credit card before I do though. 😜 Was the screen a Kubota product or third party maker?

    Finally in—my new RTV1100C

Just back for the dealer and signed papers for an RTV1100C. I ordered it 6 months ago(!). The Boss v-plow is also in and both need to be prepped and set up before they’ll deliver by the end of the year. I’m very psyched. While there, I took a photo of the tires so I can order a set of chains...

    4120 fuel return line location

Tractor is back home again after an engine rebuild. My wallet is gasping. So far so good But haven’t had much opportunity to run it. I know sh#t happens, but the failure of such a key component (the bolt holding the cam in place) has left me with a damaged opinion of Deere’s build quality. I...

    4120 fuel return line location

Yes. Engine alone is more than than parts and labor to repair the existing engine. I’m waiting for the test results on the head to make the final decision but I’m leaning towards repair of existing instead of remove and replace. Thanks though.

After writing this earlier I thought of the same thing myself. Not sure how feasible it is since JD no longer makes the engine. But I intend to find out. Thanks for suggesting it.

    4120 fuel return line location

Just got the bad news. The bolt holding the camshaft came loose and backed out. With damage to other parts, replacement parts, outside testing of the head unit, and labor the dealer is estimating around $10K to fix it. This is very unexpected and to be honest, disappointing. I’ve always been so...

zero-turn mower, turning around w/o wrecking the grass

Not sure if this helps. I own a Ferris stand-on and only recently discovered that when turning, if you completely let go of the lever for the inside tire that tire will still move through the turn. Not sure if it’s a feature of the mower or if they all do that. Once I realized it, it took some...

    4120 fuel return line location

A follow up. After several attempts to find and clean the return line, I called a friend for help. He's an experienced operator/mechanic for heavy equipment and a willing helper. 4120 fuel return line location

I’m taking advice from a few different people who claim that sludge can build up in that area and inhibit the free flow in the fuel line. Process for ordering RTV or other Kubota Equipment

I applied for and received Kubota approval for the 0% financing offer on the RTV 1100C in June. The dealer told me I was 7th on the list in line for that machine. Thanks for that. I’ll take a look when it stops raining and see if I can make sense of it. As for conditioners, will they help keep the crud from building up? I’ve been told that since I fill my tank using 5 gallon cans, I’m sorta stuck with the dirt thing.

Busted pivot rod on 400cx loader?

OK, not sure what the real name of this part is, so I'm calling it a "pivot rod". While switching from the bucket to...

Snow  Is it possible to fabricate something to mount iMatch on FEL?

I've added a piece of pipe to my back blade for use as a snow removal blade. It fits over the cutting edge and does a great job of floating over the stone in my driveway. However, since it's a back blade, the tractor has to drive over the un-plowed snow while the blade drags behind. It does work...

    Coolant Overflow?
