I haven't had this issue since I started connecting the implement fitting together after removal. For implements that have hard mounted fittings I use a short hose with matching fittings to loop them together. My backhoe was the worst but not one issue since I started connecting the end together.

The bars were shipped directly from Bush Hog so not an aftermarket part. I suspect they decided to go with a running change and this part with a little modification fits some modern machine also. Less part numbers and warehouse space needed.

Just some more info to quell any speculation of the top flex link issues. After installation I backed the cutter up an embankment and it rose up to about a 35-40° angle with the tractor. No problem with the link doing what it should do and it could probably go another 15° before the linkage...

Except I just unwrapped then new parts and helped him install them ..... new parts had a tag with that exact part number. I double checked.

Parts fische shows it as two separate parts not welded together. I have seen some that are welded but this one is not.

As I said above. He has talked to both the dealer and directly to BH. No love from either one. Looks to me the stick the bars are made from is hardened to some extent and when the bend is stamped its ctacking/shearing the steel.

I can get more pics next time I go over in a day or so. Where your arrow is pointed is where they are breaking and there is about a 15-20° in the bar. All that have broken are OEM Bush Hog.

Also point out hes not new to mowing. Been doing for 20+ years. Breaking the yokes is new. First one was replaced maybe 2 years ago. Since then it's been an ongoing issue.
