John Deere E180 Two barrel carb choke linkage problem

This shows pretty good. If you look at my picture you can see when I removed the carb I didn't realize how that link was installed and when it came out the plastic clip ended up on the shaft where it didn't belong, which is what confused me. I removed the clip and everything went together...

John Deere E180 Two barrel carb choke linkage problem

No it is different, the shaft is fine. If you look at the link the top of the plasttic fits into a bar. The plastic needs to be horizontal but the link needs to be vertical.

John Deere E180 Two barrel carb choke linkage problem

The screwdriver is pointing to the bar the link where the link attaches. The top view of the carb has the connection on the left. The link has a plastic weight which snaps into the bar. The link needs to be vertical when this happens....

John Deere E180 Two barrel carb choke linkage problem

Engine was popping and sputtering under full throttle. It ran okay on low and medium throttle. I pulled the carb and cleaned it out and installed overhaul kit. On the left side of the carb is a link that goes to a lever for the choke. It has a plastic weight that snaps into the lever...

squeaky wheel with no place to grease.

Thanks. The more I think about it, it is probably the brakes. I will open them up and see what wonders are inside. :D

squeaky wheel with no place to grease.

Yes 4 WD. Grease point on the front. I haven't had it long so I need to find out where the points are for adding fluids. Looks like I am going to have to start taking things apart.

Satoh S-370D 3 point lift adjust.

Thanks! I will look into this.

squeaky wheel with no place to grease.

S-370D Left rear wheel squeaks. No place I can see to add grease. I am wondering if it is the brake dragging. Do I have to pull the hwole axle housing to check the brake? I never really use the brakes anyway. I think I need a return spring but will need it to cool down to check...

    Beaver bushog clutch

I have a satoh beaver with the manufactuers bush hog. It has a clutch instead of shear pins. The clutch slips badly. There are no springs on the studs. I notice aftermarket clutches have springs to adjust the pressure. Should there be springs on the studs? I am going to disassemble...

Satoh S-370D 3 point lift adjust.

I move it slowly but it is basically working as an on-off, rather than incremental. With my new holland I could raise or lower slowly. The Satoh just bangs up or bangs down.

Satoh S-370D 3 point lift adjust.

Is there a hydaulic adjustment for speed on the lift? Right now it is boom all the way up or boom all the way down. I try to jocky it more slowly but it is really had. I have seen pictures on the site where some have a handle under the seat but mine doesn't have that.

    SATOH S-370D Beaver Clutch issue.

It has a threaded rod. I have not made any adjustments on it yet.

    SATOH S-370D Beaver Clutch issue.

When I first start the tractor the clutch seems okay. After running it awhile even pushing the pedal all the way down it doesn't want to disengage. It doesn't appear to have excessive travel on the pedal.

    Satoh S-370D beaver questions.

Just got it today. A far cry from my old NH TN65! But for a small area and bush hogging I was hoping it would be ok. I drove it and tested all the functions and other than long play on the clutch everything seemed okay. I got home and fired it up to do a little bush hogging...

the next chapter in the TN65 saga

most of you have read the recurring saga of my TN65 which must have been started on a friday and finished on friday.I'm up to about 450 hours now and the past year have been starting by jumping directly to the battery. Eventually found out is was a bad connection in the high quality (NOT) fuse...

    Lawn tractor LA110

I have a JD LA 110 lawn tractor with about 30 hours on it. On the deck just left of center is a stationary pulley. There is only tension on it when the blades are engaged. The shaft is held in place by peening the end and a hex in the bracket keeps it from spinning. Well the peen metal broke...

long for the first 50 hours back

ahhhhhh I long for those days when my tractor only had 50 hours on it. The hour meter and fuel gauge hadn't died yet requiring replacement. I could still start the tractor by putting the key in the ignition and turning it, not like now where I have to jump the solenoid to the battery because...

Box Scraper  Using a box blade correctly

I am sure there is a post somewhere but I need to know how to use a box blad correctly. I am sure you need to float it right? In the past I have had piles of dirt I knocked down and needed to level out. Evventually I ended up using the FEL and back bladed to get the results I wanted. Someone...

    FEL Hose routing.

My TN65 has a 2446 Bushog FEL. I bought it with the tractor and they ran the lines under the deck along side the hydraulic pipes. Ther were getting snagged and abraded so I have run it over the top deck, along the fender grab bar and supports off the Rops. I want to re-route it underneath...

    NH electrical systems....... junk

does anyone else think NH has terrible electrics? I have always said fiat would protect a 10 cent fuse with a 500 dollar wiring harness. I had to replace the dash panel because it is plastic and after all 7 years is a long time. It was disintergrating. So I check fuses and they are all...

    TN 65 wiring diagram?

Well epoxied the fuel tank (and it actually didn't leak) and put everything back together. Though I thought I was taking great care to keep all connectors in place and not put any strain on the delicate wiring, when it was all together the engine would not crank. also noticed the PTO light...

    what is this connector for?

On my TN65 on the left side of the ROPS there is a connector bolted on. Is this accessory power or break light connector for a trailer?

Oil & Fuel  TN65, is there a fuel tank skid plate?

Well I scrapped my second fuel tank today. All things considered I can;t complain. The rear support had been torn loose, the plate bent under and backwards for the past year draggin the strap. I was pushing over some titi and bush hogging it today when I smell fuel. hmmmmm. I have had the...

    3PH arm pins

Okay, I know someone has got to know where I can get a good pin for the lower arms on the 3PH. the factory pin has the curved W retainer. A good day of bushoggine and both pins are history. I could take the W wire off and safety wire the dang things on but would rather find a pin with a stiff...

    TN65 hydraulic issues

Hi folks I am new to this site. I have a 2000 with about 400 original hours on it. I bought it new in 2000. I use it 90% of the time with the Howse 6' bushog or 2446 FEL. The rest of the time is discing or box blading. Now I am the first to admit I have asked this machine to do more than it...
