My Ventrac Hydro oil is low and needs topped off. Ventrac calls for Amsoil 5-30 synthetic Hydro trans oil. Does it need to be this specific oil to just top off maybe with a quart?

Almost forgot this one. Brake pedal is way to tall. This vice grip works perfectly fine for braking. At least until I find a better..or less ghetto looking clamp.
