    Comparing small tractors (long)

I had a sub compact kioti CS2410 for 7 years, 2014-2021. It was a fabulous machine and sold quickly for the same price that I paid for it. I purchased a second kioti to replace it, a new CX2510 compact. Both machines had 25 horse engines, loaders and the 60"mmm. The CX2510 went much further...

    Need utility Side by Side

I had a honda Pioneer and it was a great machine. However, I found that it rode too rough. It only had 5" of suspension travel. I sold it and bought a yamaha wolverine 850. Much better ride and just as versatile for work, but much better on a trail ride.

I had a kioti CS2410 subcompact with the mid mounted mower and it was simply awesome. But I found it to be a little small for loader work so I bought a compact kioti CX2510, again with a mid mounted mower. The bigger tractor is much more capable than the subcompact was. Close to Twice the...

My Stupidity kicked in at full throttle.

I would try attaching a slide hammer. That's an easy way to give it a good straight pull. Probably not enough room for a hammer in behind the shaft to hit it. And you wouldn't be able to hit it squarely.

Surprised that there are no trailer hitches with tongue weight indicators

The Ford F150 has a tongue weight/load sensor and display option. It won't tell you the weight exactly, it uses the 4 vertical brakes lights to guage the weight on the rear of the truck. It's handy when loading a tractor onto a trailer as it effectively displays tongue weight increase as you...

Pinhole leak in hydraulic line on backhoe. There a clamp or sleeve fix?

It sucks, but I wouldn't risk it. Value wise, dependability wise and safety wise it's better to suck it up and replace the line. Anything else on a hydraulic line is just to limp home or finish something critical. My opinion of course.

1 tractor rest of forever -- what brand?

It may well be stronger, but I don't think any compact runs the risk of damaging a SSQA hookup. At least not without breaking something else first. And there's no denying that there are more SSQA attachments available new and used the what you have on John Deere tractors. The entire...

1 tractor rest of forever -- what brand?

I think Kioti would be number 3 overall. But for me Kioti is number 1. I purchased the CX2510 to replace a much loved but significantly smaller Kioti CS2410. Buying Advice Kioti cx2510 battery

Verification of operation of all functions and features of the tractor that you are contracted to sell to the general public on behalf of a manufacturer such as kioti does NOT take a superhuman effort and should be standard operating procedure if you undertake such an arrangement. Your...

    Buying Advice Kioti cx2510 battery

I don't believe that I complained about Kioti at all. I was very clear about my love for the kioti brand and my dislike of the Kioti Dealers that I've met. The only real complaint that I have is the general state of affairs regarding the Dealers that I've met and spoken with. Please re-read my...

    Buying Advice Kioti cx2510 battery

I was kind of focusing on kiotis manufactured more recently then 2001. I would like to purchase an additional kioti for a property we have up north and I'd like to know if this is the dealership to do that with. I purchased this Kioti tractor on the internet and over the phone, I paid full...

    Buying Advice Kioti cx2510 battery

I wouldn't expect the dealer to be truthful unfortunately. That kind of question would only serve to reduce or eliminate any trust we had between us. Either he switched the battery and knows I caught him or he didn't switch the battery but now thinks i don't trust Him. TBH I Don't trust any...

    Buying Advice  Kioti cx2510 battery

Does anyone know what battery brand Kioti uses? My first Kioti I purchased had an Interstate battery (kioti CS2410) and every kioti review I watch also has a nice Interstate battery. My brand new CX2510 has a battery with no name (just Black) and it appears to have a Jan 2021 date written on...

Compact Tractor Dealers Ignore Two-thirds of Their Potential Website Customers, Industry Survey Shows

I just recently purchased a new Kioti CX2510. I've left emails, kijiji messages and phone messages for Dealers that never returned my messages or called. I was on my 4th dealer before I found one 2 hours away and completed a purchase there. I do find that Customer service has taken a hit lately...

    Ugh!! Water Well contractors...

Well contractors simply don't replace 1.5 hp pumps with 5 hp pumps. A 5hp pump is a very serious pump capable of pumping 500 plus feet of elevation. This would be equivalent to a mechanic installing a 454 V8 into your Chevrolet to replace a 1.5 liter 4 banger. It just doesn't happen.

Starting a tractor in extreme cold temperatures

A coolant heater is quite effective if working properly. It heats and circulates the coolant through the motor. If coolant is effective to remove heat from the engine then it's also going to be effective to reintroduce heat to the inner workings of an engine. Some believe that a coolant heater...

Truck rant. And don't know what to do.

Sorry about your misfortune with ford. I'll confess that I am a Ford nut before continuing. All companies have their lemons from time to time. My last 3 trucks have been Ford supercabs, 2010, 2014 and my current 2018. The first 2 went 285-295000 kilometers in about 4 years due to the nature of...

    CX2510 Ignition interlock

No Sir, this unit requires it to be shifted into neutral. Which I can fully understand if the tractor had no clutch like my last SCUT.

    CX2510 Ignition interlock

Hey. Just bought a new cx2510 ROPS. This tractor adds a clutch for me compared to my old cs2410. This new tractor requires that the HST high low range selector is in neutral AND the clutch has to be depressed to start it. This is overkill and I will disconnect the high low range lever needing...

Any rule-of-thumb for replacing 4.5" cutoff wheels?

I find that the cutting wheels generate too much heat when cutting and that will affect the paint and possibly cause corrosion later on. When I did my metal roof it was suggested that I not use a grinder for that reason. I used a Dewalt Sawzall with a 6"metal blade that worked very well for...

3-Point Hitch  Kioti CS2410 3 pt hitch adjustment

I have a 2014 kioti CS2410. Best tractor I've ever owned so far. But I do have one question for someone that knows more then I. Is the 3point hitch adjustable for height? I have a mowing deck height adjustment on the left side which works good but the three point hitch goes all the way down...
