    3rd function, PT-180

A neighbor of mine has a john deere 1023. My loader will lift more weight on my PT than his will to my max height. He has a small 26” grapple on his and it works pretty well for him…. I am also considering purchasing a regular tractor right now so that I can load into my dump trailer. With my PT...

    3rd function, PT-180

Hey folks, So… after 2 hurricanes in as many weeks down here in FL. I need to add a 3rd function to my ‘lil 180. Any one here tried it? I am going to start researching the loader valve first and then look to see if I need to try to run a diverter on it or if I will need to put in a secondary...

I was changing the whole valve. I ended up just putting the old one back in. Now my PTO lever is spewing fluid. I’m waiting for the o rings to come in. I have an assortment of them, but they are ALL THE WRONG SIZE just my luck.

    PT-180 quick attach issues

Here is my cooler I added. When I get around to it I will swap the hose looping around it to a hard tube. Until then. It works. And after 8+ hours of brush cutting yesterday and 4 hours of mowing today, it works. 😁

    PT-425 Slope Mowing

I have a 180, a much smaller machine. I will say that I am in no way a role model… however, I have, on several occasions mowed at close to 30 degrees sideways. It is uncomfortable, but the money was pretty good and I never felt the tractor was going to slide down the slope.

    PT-180 quick attach issues

I bought one and was about to install it because I want a joystick, but when I had finally got all of the fittings I needed and was about to install I figured out it did not have a float Function so… useless… sorta… and they would not return it because I had “installed” it.

    PT-180 quick attach issues

Hey guys, Been a long time since I posted… like since my last issue with the PT. Anywho, I keep noticing that I am getting a steady drip from the male quick attach. Yesterday I installed a rather large hydraulic cooler and then tried to see how hot the hydraulics would get (pics coming soon)...

So... I ordered a stump grinder on Tuesday. It came today. Power-trac has been hanging around Amazon too much... 2 day shipping on a stump grinder and rake, haha. However, I know we talked about it and a few people said it didn't seem that great. I am here to tell you. That was wrong. I took out...

So, a couple weeks ago I bit the bullet and contacted power trac and ordered a pt-180 with a bucket, 45" finishing mower and a brush cutter. Last weekend I drove up to Virginia and picked it up (was not ready for that weather... ... Here in FL it was 80-90 and it was in the 30's and rainy.) I...

    Wheel motors

Due to advice that I received from Moss, I was wondering if you all that upgraded your wheel motors could tell me the displacement or size or brand of the motor you used. I'm looking at building my own articulating tractor and This is a sticking point for me. I know one person on here said that...

    Hydraulics/wheel motor question

Theoritically speaking, I'm not saying that I am planning to attempt to build an articulating tractor with a 3 pt and FEL... could a single pump run 4 wheel motors, a 3 point hitch and a FEL? If I were to do this I would have a 26 hp gas engine and would probably intend on a 23in tire. With...
