I think I had mine on the inside when it yanked out. But then again I was using my mower deck like a brush hog.

Some years back, when this happened to my tractor, I had a dude here on TBN argue with me that it's impossible that some brush could yank the spring pin out. But yes, it's possible, coz that's exactly what happened. Moot point at this point, coz I now mow with a stand on mower.

When I had the deck, I did the same thing with the screw/nut after one of my casters came off like yours did.

I totally hear ya on the 60", the MF2326. I had that deck, sold it last spring. I like to mow at 3.75", and it just didn't do great at that height, primarily because there's no other blade option besides those that come on the deck. It needs high lift blades to suck that grass up high enough...

I'll also say that this was probably the most challenge my GC had plowing. I had to use the locking diff more often than usual, and even almost got stuck when climbing back up my sloped side-drive. I say this sarcastically of course, being that mine wears R4's, no chains, no ballast. 🤓

If the ground is really soft, I use a wooden plank underneath the puller's foot, so that it doesn't sink into the ground.

We got like 1.5" the other day, slushy stuff. I just cleaned all that off with a push shovel while chatting with my mom on the phone...spent an hour on the phone with mom, so that made her happy!

No chains here, I use the 4wd and locking dif when needed as needed. It works.

Oh it's not so bad. I installed an inlet to the panel with an interlock thingie, so the hardest part for me is rolling it out of the shed and plugging it into the inlet...and of course keeping it fed with gas.

I had a light-duty snow plow for my Craftsman garden tractor. Sold the gt when I got the Massey, so I repurposed the Craftsman plow for the Massey...basically hacked the mount off, and welded it on a SSQI plate. It's been working awesome for me, gonna be a 4th year with it this coming winter...

I've seen snow blades mounted more on stander mowers than on sit-on z-turns. Toro Grandstand for instance, their Multiforce has a pretty cool setup with hydraulics to lift/tilt the blade. They seem pretty effective so long as the operator keeps in mind the limitations of a fairly light machine...

Turn the key to let the fuel flow for a few sec, then turn and hold a few sec for the glow plugs, then turn further to crank the starter for a few sec. If it doesn't start, go back to the glow plugs a few sec, and then try again. You may need to do that a few times....a few sec of glow...

Depending what machine I'm using. On the Massey, I'd be fairly careful doing my 15 degree slopes. On my Bradley stander, that's straight up fun...I'll wheelie that badboy up there just for kicks, mow it side-to-side, whatever, no fear.
