    Protecting Blueberries

We have a small blueberry plot of about 12 bushes - southern varieties. The plants are not huge as they have only been in the ground for 1 - 3 years. Last year we used bird netting to protect from bird robbing. It worked well, but was a pain to duck under for harvesting and caught quite /...

    Kioti NX Maintenance Intervals

I am not looking to start yet another thread on preferred oils, fluids, filters, etc. I have a very simple question for Kioti NX owners. In looking at my new NX5010C shuttle shift owners manual, I see engine oil / filter replacement at 400 hours, hydraulic fluid / filter intervals at 400 / 200...

    Spray Foam Insulation

My heater went out sometime last night while the low was 26F and the daytime high was about 58F. My house stayed above 68F all night and day. Very pleased with the insulating qualities of the spray foamed attic and blown in fiberglass walls. I know that these are wimpy temperatures for you...

    First NX5010C Regen

I was a bit surprised when the "regen in progress" light came on in my NX5010C at just under 25 hours. I was expecting a regen at 40 - 60 hours based on posts here and dealer input. I was grappling at 1500 rpm and boosted it to 1800 rpm since the label in the cab says to increase speed to over...

Travis nailed it, lots a great advice from all who replied - thanks everyone. So, Travis which position is best for the 60" Wicked Grapple? It may have been fluid expansion because I am pretty sure that I de-pressurized before disconnecting the grapple. The pressure was definitely on the...

I took my Wicked Grapple off to use forks the other day. When I re-installed the grapple today, I could not connect the hydraulic hoses as the grapple side was under pressure. When I loosened a pipe fitting on the grapple, to relieve the pressure I could make the connections. What is the...

Several of us have been trying to do just that over the last several days. Three days after driving 45 miles one-way to the FedEx depot, I am beginning to see why people love their Wicked Grapples. Oops, I guess I outed myself as a "fanboy" aka satisfied customer. I...

The most sane response on this topic so far. ^^ Travis does not need to man up, CatDriver needs to make his case to EA. If not happy with their reply, go to some business organization, like BBB, etc. He is not going to change anyone's mind who had good experiences with EA - the vast majority...

Travis: tooth bar newbie question here. Is there some general standard for the location / spacing of the side bolt slots and bottom bolt holes for tooth bars? My Kioti NX 72" bucket came pre-drilled and I am wondering if the Wicked Tooth Bar will bolt directly on. Thanks, Jim

On a happier note, I got my Wicked Grapple today after free shipping and over 3 weeks early. I gladly took the trailer to the FedEx depot after dropping off a load of (s)crap at the local dump, picking up the wife's prescription and stopping at the Kioti dealer. We live 40 - 50...

Wow, maybe EA really isy getting a handle on the backlog and increasing capacity. I just got an email that my Wicked Grapple is shipping today. That is 5 weeks and 2 days since I placed my order. Can't wait to put it to work! EA gave me the tracking number and it has already been picked up...

I agree with all of your points especially the last one. I do wish that wait times were less. I guess that I have been spoiled by other online businesses' rapid delivery. I still ordered the grapple knowing that I was in for possibly an 8-week wait because the positives listed by rigustafson...

Yeah, clear as mud. Time to move on to something related to EA again. I sure hope that Wicked Grapple comes early like OrangeMuscle's. I have lots of tree limbs and branches scattered around the acreage that need grappling. Now that the county burn ban has been lifted, I need to build the...

I actually mentioned public and private companies in my original reply to you, so I was not assuming anything in that regard. Your original post was not only "subjective" but so non-specific that you can later say that you meant pretty much anything. Searching SEC databases won't tell you...

I was just reading what you posted, your comment was "if manufacturers were required to disclose factual profit margins...". I don't see where you specify "individual products" and it is not obvious to me that is what you meant. My bad if that is what you meant when you wrote it.

Yes, it is tough to anticipate market swings. And when a business is not diversified, there is nothing to take up the slack if your primary market craters. It does seem that the hobby farm / homestead movement has a ways to run and that bodes well for EA.

I have seen photos and it looks very nice! My comment was based on the fact that wait times are still very long. I wish that they had enough capacity to build an inventory and ship from that. But it's their business and they apparently know what they are doing based on their many loyal customers!

Actually, in a better world your salary would be tied to the value that you bring to the business. A business does not owe you a living. If you don't like your situation, you can change it. If you have a better idea of how to run things, start your own business.

Again, this is public information for public companies. If you want to know this, then get their annual report and read it. Since you are probably not buying every product that a company makes, a more relevant piece of information is the margin on a particular product. This is probably not...

It requires a helluva a lot more expertise and it's quite a bit more complicated, time consuming, expensive and risky to make medications than grapples. Margins usually correlate with those kinds of factors. I'd rather pay a high margin to save my life than pickup some brush from the seat.

Public companies are, private companies not so much. Personally, I really don't care what their margin is. If they run their business better than the competition and meet customers' needs better then they should make a better margin. I imagine that EA has a pretty good margin given that they...

What did you do to or on your Mahindra today?

Finished Rear Remotes I finally finished the installation of my two rear remotes this afternoon. This is the first time that I did any hydraulic work, so it took a while longer than it should have. I installed a pressure gauge to set the RV and decided to leave in-line for now. Where the...

In addition to the increased cost of door to door shipping, you are at the mercy of the freight / delivery company to schedule from the depot to your door.
