Here is a photo of the back end. He has the 3pt mounted in the holes in question, just above the PTO spline, and you can see the usual 3pt holes below, with a steel rod through to help hold the repair to the crack in the housing.

New owner of a BX23S. Thinking about chains for snow blowing this winter but the loader valve on the right rear fender goes very close to the rear tire. Any other 80 series users have chains, and how is the clearance? Otherwise, I may go with studs. Thanks.
