I just put the chains on yesterday.... I have a 74 Normand on my MX6000. I can drive through 15-18" of wind packed snow... A fresh snow... I am sure a bit more. I have euro chains on all 4 corners. I absolutely hated using a traditional 3 point blower... I ran 72" skid steer blower off an...
I bought a new 8 foot hydraulic blade this morning. Lucky for me, they neighbor had not cleaned his 1/4 mile lane yet... Works great, and is agreat compliment to the Normand Inverted on the back.
The neighbor, took a few pics of my test run.
Euros are the best... I want to see a video of this awesome home fab!
46 degrees F here right now... can wait to See how my 74" Normand Inverted performs on my MX6060cab... I have never had a cab... Always did my snowblowing with an open station and ski goggles!
I chose to not spend $471 plus freight for Normand Skids for my new to me inverted. I had brackets made that would utilize the skid shoes off my Landpride blade. Oh... and the backordered remotes for my MX6000 finally came in... I am now ready for snow.
I have gone with front chains on my tractor... for many years. It has helped when going through snow and side hills. My lane has a bank on it, and if we ice or any ice develops, the back end slides.. I bought a set of studded chains for the rear last year. WOW.. is all I can say. It...
I just purchased a Kubota MX6000 Cab. I replaced my Kubota MX4800 with this. The cab adds about 500#.. I am not sure if the cab model is stiffer, or if the cab makes it stiffer. I bush hogged my pasture the first day. The pasture is NOT flat. I am not sure if it is me or reality... I...
I certainly will. I am attaching pictures of my reference of a snow blower that worked only on gravel for 5 years.. but I can't wait for snow to come in November or December!!!
Well... I will post more when it stops raining. Yes... rust... which is really just crappy paint job. It was used commercially, in Minnesota salt. These are not scars.. just bad paint. The guy I bought it from agreed and said the same thing. There are many places where the paint is...
I have been looking at Pronovost and Normand blowers. Is there one blower manufacturer that is better than another (other brands as well)? I will say that I questions concerning the quality of the Normand paint. I see many fairly new ones that have plaint coming off and rusting. I know...
I run a 74" Quick Attach skid steer snow blower on my MX4800. I have a 22 gpm Prince PTO pump and a 30 gal reservoir mounted on my blade. It works great. I have used this since 2015. I use my FEL in the winter to move firewood to the house.

I have a MX4800. I use a 6' Bush hog 2x a year on a 3 acre pasture. I use the grapple in the timber to get logs. A 6' Land pride 3 point finish mower. I use a 8' rear blade and a 6' skid steer blower on the front. And of course the FEL with a 72" bucket for everything else. I have R-4s...
I got and installed OFA EKO 9 chains on the rear of my 2015 MX4800. I also recently discovered that there where skids available for my Landpride RB2696. They came in today and installed as well! I have snowy hills that I drive up to move firewood to the house, and our drive has a banked...
Chains came in today. The went on quite easily.... after I figured out the split link LOL. That being said, they are a full section long. Others have said the same thing. Too long is better than too short! They worked great... traction out of this world!!! I was told that chain...
I am looking to put chains on my Kubota MX4800. The tires size is 17.5L-24. The chains that I am wanting to get from TireChains.com only come in 17.5-25. The only dimensional difference that I see is that the 25 has a circumference of about 5-6" larger. Is this correct? SO I would have to...
Hi. I am new here.. but not new to Kubota's. I have a 2015 MX4800.. I really like the idea of the cab and more power of the new MX6000. I am just sure that I am going to get taken to the cleaners on trade.
