    Lack of Snow......it's my fault.....

Of course I am tempting fate by posting this.....but we have had a really low snow year so far at the NH house and I completely blame it on my purchase of the 2601 with blower and back blade. I am partially hoping the Snow Gods see this post and send a few February storms our way.....BUT they...

Garage site work helpful thoughts needed......

In the Spring we are thinking about building a garage/barn of about 24x26 off to the side of our long driveway. The challenge is we have a heavily sloped driveway that has some effective and very necessary drainage as the land slopes down from the road and we have a couple culverts diverting...

    Delivery Day for the B2601.......

Big day finally arrived. When I got the call the tractor was ready I caught on to the fact they kept saying "Box Blade" and I had ordered the RB1560.......rear blade....well honest mistake they had prepped a BB1260......which I probably would have gotten in the Spring anyways. So.....just keep...

    Chains....Age old question...need some advice

As I have mentioned elsewhere on the site, I have a Kubota B2601 on order (as do many) and one of its primary duties will be snow removal on my 500' gravel driveway in NH with a serious grade up to the road with the 48" commercial blower. I am going with Turf tires in 33 12.5 15 as non winter...

    Trigger pulled on B2601......

While on one hand I cringe a bit with RevTurbo's experience this week with his 2601 delivery (sounds like the dealer is making good) I am happy on the other hand with the fact I just put a deposit down on my own B2601. Landed on what I feel is a decent deal. I went with Turfs (plan on getting...

Husky being frisky with starting.....or not starting

Late 1980s Husky 50.......was running like a top all Spring. Let it sit for 6 weeks or so now haven't been able to get it to really fire up AT ALL. Replaced plug. Emptied fuel from cylinder and tank. Replaced fuel filter. Added store bought 50:1 Husky mix to take the "bad fuel" issue off...

    B2601 Quote Came in.....

So I got in my first local quote for the 2601 with the list of attachements/options below. They literally quoted MSRP for everything which comes to $28,579. I then asked them to load the rears with Rimguard so $29,200. Less $1,300 in Kubota rebates......$27,900. No reason for me to move...

B01 Series - Height of ROPS when folded?

As I metioned in the Buying forum I am planning on a B01 series, probably a 2601 but I need to confirm the height of the ROPS when folded as I have a shed door height limitation of 70"......based on what I can tell it looks like the folded position is probably ~16-18" less than the 85" raised...
