Anyone ever built their own "bog mats"?

Attempt what with a backhoe? I use these all the time with backhoe, excavator, lifts, skid steers, pickups, etc… In fact, we usually place them with a backhoe or 5K reach lift.

Anyone ever built their own "bog mats"?

The plastic mats are a lot less weight than swamp mats made of creosote ties. In fact, a small loader can place them with ease. When renting these, plan to rent as many as needed to road in to where the work will happen. If you need a platform to work off of, measure the area and rent all at...

    Big Cars are killing Americans

I agree with a lot of what you said. As we age, those lights seem brighter, not to mention the change in law about lighting. They’re literally more intense than they once were. You should know though…I drive a 2018 F-350 single wheel and turned off my seatbelt warning because I drive around job...

    Farm UTV/RTV Purchase

I think people believe kubota uses a locked rear. They use a limited slip with the ability to lock as does a tractor. You can also buy, stock, turf tires installed instead of their all terrains.

    Farm UTV/RTV Purchase

Here in Texas, you can do that with your Ag card. No matter the brand. My kubotas were bought as business but Kawasaki’s we’re farm use.

    Farm UTV/RTV Purchase

Well…I install artificial turf for a living and use the kubotas for that a lot! You see my work on Sundays. Those aren’t torn up….

    Farm UTV/RTV Purchase

That’s pretty awesome. But, it’s better to have it and not need it than vise versa. I just can’t be a cheerleader for the Polaris company. Mine has a lot of issues, small, but always something. Plus I know three different guys that have issues with transmission levers. Not sure why, I’d have to...

    Farm UTV/RTV Purchase

I should also add…speeds of the teryx are way faster than I ever want to go, that leaves me power and torque to get moving. Like I said before, the mule pro is very car like and can go pretty fast, never topped out, don’t know but probably 40 ish. The kubotas will go 26 mph if you have the...

    Farm UTV/RTV Purchase

For what it’s worth…I have a Kawasaki teryx, Kawasaki mule pro and two kubota RTV x900s. I do a lot of ranch work and all have their benefits. The first is…Kawasaki offers a three year warranty. Every other mfg offers one year. This is huge for me. That being said, the kubota machines are strong...

Loader FL7 Loader on CT2025 Doesn’t Seem to Meet Spec

I am with Tman on this. It either sounds like air or you have a bleed, possibly in the joystick where some pressure is getting to up/down and curl up/down. A simple seal leak can make your hydraulics seem weak. To answer your question, I usually have something on the 3 point, heavy old forklift...

Loader FL7 Loader on CT2025 Doesn’t Seem to Meet Spec

I guess the reason I’m struggling with your issue is my personal experience is so drastically different. I can literally lift the rear of the tractor by curling the bucket. Although I do not move hay with the loader, I do use this tractor for a lot of lifting tasks. I don’t think I have ever...

Loader FL7 Loader on CT2025 Doesn’t Seem to Meet Spec

I have a ct225 that is very strong In hydraulics for the size of the machine. The thing some folks forget is the weight of the pallet forks or whatever attachment is on the loader. I know my forks are extremely heavy duty and weigh quite a lot. Be sure you’re factoring the weight of the...

    Towing capacity

Just an old country boys opinion here... 14k trailer even if you think you would not need it. You have made an investment in buying your tractor and equipment, as well as your truck. Why take a chance on an inferior trailer? Here is an example for you guys... I used to own a Big Tex 14LX dump...

    CT225 will crank, won稚 start

Winston, I was really limited to bobcat. North texas guys, the store south of Dallas Was closest to me. He (My local guy) did an excellent job of putting it back together very thorough. Changed every fluid, every filter, greased it up real good, heck he even built me a battery hold down. Wasn’t...

    CT225 will crank, won稚 start

Hello, all. Well, the little ct225 is finally running. I have had it back about a month now and put some solid hours on it. I have to say, I am very impressed. Never had a compact or a HST before, except a lawnmower...really easy to use. Hydraulics are quick and strong, pushed over a half dozen...

Hi everyone! New to site. I have been looking at posts for a long time. I have way too many tractors not to! Here is what I have going on and hope for help. CT225 turns over fine, but will not start. 1. Starting from the beginning, the only things that will keep it from CRANKING would be the...
