My 2017 X738 dies intermittently, the dash just goes completely black and dies. I can turn the switch to "off" and restart it. It seems to want to do it more often if the idle is real low, and turning on the lights triggers it sometimes. Other times it just dies without any changes, idling...

now looking at Kubotas B7500, B7200, B2710

any model # / brand ideas? I need to find something decent , reasonable and in the Midwest

Can a X738 front blade system be mounted on a rear three point? I have a blade and a snow blower, it is a pain to swap them over, so I am thinking about adding 3 point, in order to mount the blade on the rear. That way I can push some piles around and have the best of both worlds. The...

Mowed for about three hours today and I rescind the statement of the deck and mowing is too loud, just an adjustment to a larger machine I guess. The larger tractor is more comfortable and with the wider deck more efficient . One thing ,the mulching kit does load up the machine quite a bit...

deck was like new, the spindles and gearbox spun nicely , the noise is just something I need to mitigate with better ear plugs . I did run the tractor not maxed out but still in the green range and it seemed more tolerable .

didn't know about that one, just greased the ones on the deck. Get it later

I removed the deck, nothing wrong almost new, greased zerks, cleaned clippings, no real difference in noise. It must be a thing with all hydraulic tractors/ mowers. Looking for better hearing protection for comfort and less stress. Or quieter mowing?

Without the bracket , its still loud,even with ear plugs. I need to find better hearing protection, to make it more enjoyable. Or run it at lower rpms, but with thick grass and the mulch kit it will bog.😡

I believe I found the problem. The rear weight bracket was empty, without weights, that allowed it to rattle and at high engine speeds vibrate. I took it off and a after short ride it seemed to be less noisy. Time will tell.

I guess I could remove the deck , inspect everything , but its so new......

Just bought a 2018 low hour X738 (<46hrs) . Finished mowing today. The 54" deck with a mulch kit is extremely loud, normal ear plugs are not enough. So; 1 is the mulch blades/ kit causing the noise? If so ,too bad the system seems to be working OK 2 Do I need special hearing...

Is there an attachment available with a ball hitch to allow moving a trailer using the lift on the front of my X738?

you scared me, as I don't know of how to spot the difference..... ( I am sure there are graphics or other things)

bought the X738 just too many extras to pass up(there is more than the photo), hope I don't miss the AWS.

I found a 2018 X738 with lots of bells and whistles except the aws for $14500.Might be able to whittle them down somewhat . Can I get by without the all wheel steer? Sure would be great mowing I would think

Thinking of a X739 what other brand's models compare? I really like the aws function, and I need awd . Looking at this one but its 6years old, although it only has 64 hrs .It has a hardly used 54" auto connect deck, but not aws

I found a 2014 Ventrac 4500Y with two attachments, about 500hrs for sale. $20000. What should I look for? Any big differences in it and a newer tractor?
