In normal times. Kubota and JD will have higher resale than lesser brands. These are not normal times.

Most used tractors in good condition are selling now near or higher and what you paid for them. Even a Kioti.

Resale is higher because Kubota (and Deere) hold a much higher percentage value of their original purchase price than other brands like Kioti.

The local JD dealer here is a virtual monopoly as they own ALL the JD dealers in rural SW Ohio. They have a terrible reputation unless you are a big time farm operation with large ag tractors.

He doesn't have to do the service. All you have to do is have proof (receipts) that you purchased the required supplies and document the required servicing.

If you buy a quality tractor in the first place, you should have minimal interaction with the dealer after the sale for service.

I'd spend the $10K on a quality tractor (Kubota). I can afford the best on don't settle on lesser brands (Kioti).

If I was a JD fanboi, I wouldn't buy a new JD for quite some time. You will have disgruntled workers assembling your JD (from foreign sourced components).

No. Still the same tune. I think Kubota makes the best overall small/medium size tractor. However, if they don't make a model that meets your specific needs, then I hope you get a machine that serves you reliably, well into the future.

Then you buy the best tractor that meets your specific specifications. I hope your choice gives your good service.

A very quick search of this forum alone shows many posts about fuel leaks in Mahindra tractors. Don't talk about something you have no clue about.

You are right, I'm not. I do own a Kubota. It's the best tractor in it's class. That's why I purchased it.

Since they are literally running out of oxygen in India, good luck getting a replacement tank anytime soon.

L48TLB is a great machine!

Even Kubota isn't perfect. But it's the most reliable small/medium tractor. Ask anyone that actually knows, not some off-brand fanboi who holds a grudge against Kubota because they can't afford one.

Mahindras have a history of fuel leaks. I'd have the dealer buy it back from you at full price. If not, I'd sue them. Then go buy a Kubota and enjoy trouble free tractoring.

Indeed. I pushed on the pin and no fluid comes out. It does not look like a factory installed part to me. I'm trying find if any other owners have something or have seen something similar on their machines.

I have a brand new MX6000 and while poking around the belly, I found this bolt that has a free floating pin in the middle. It's not painted grey, so I doubt it was installed by the factory. It's located on the centerline, just forward of the transmission. Forward of this bolt, the front drive...

Thanks! I think this will be the perfect size machine for my needs. Had a B series Kubota for many years. Great little tractor, but outgrew it and needed something more substantial.

My new MX6000 is home. It has factory third function valve and three rear remotes. Rears are loaded with Rimguard. Still waiting for the bucket level indicating rod to come in at the dealer.

My MX6000 had 3/10 of an hour on it when I purchased it recently. 12 hours on a "new" tractor means that it was used extensively as a demo and had all sorts of "Bubbas" doing stupid **** to it. I'd demand a substantial discount or other compensation for their "used" new tractor.
