I wonder if you need to bleed the injector lines. Not familiar with your tractor but my old MF1250 would sometimes act like that if I got air in the lines. This sometimes happened during fuel filter replacement.

I just completed my third year on Titan R14's with no issues. Not quite as good traction as R1 (obviously) but they do very well. They do give a smoother ride with the center strip, especially on hard surfaces. They do not tear up the turf as badly as R1.

Did you blow back from fuel filter into tank? You said you replaced the fuel pump. Did you check the fuel solenoid on bottom of float bowl? You can get after market a lot cheaper than OEM and the ones I bought look identical, possibly same manufacturer that supplies JD.
