Traction clutch control pedal not fully rising to top of travel could possibly shorten life of the dry traction by not allowing pressure plate to apply designed pressure to the clutch plate. This will depend on how far from fully raised clutch pedal is after operators foot is removed from pedal.

I'll take JD's newer style L/D shaft seals similar to what my 4255 has over electronically controlled anything. My 4255 with 11,500+ hrs showing on speed/hour meter. Many hours of 3 pt plowing & is on it's 3rd set of L/D seals. That doesn't include the baling of many 1000's of rd bales

IMHO JD lower draft sensing if adjusted per tech manual operates much better than upper link draft sensing on upper link sensing best day. Major downfall is the requirement of the seals that will eventually LEAK OIL at the bottom of transmission case(hyd oil reservoir)!

After engine has set not running for about 24 hrs loosen engine oil pan plug about 3 turns then wait a few minutes for liquid to escape between plug & pan threads. If coolant is present in pan it should leak out before any oil drips out.

I think most newer model balers designed to bale high moisture hay built by several different manufacturers will do what you desire. I've read where foreign built balers such as Krone & Kubota are very good high moisture hay balers.

The only way I can envision how one twists tube is to utilize SSQA attachment bracket without bucket or forklift forks or some other quick attach device properly/securely attached to SSQA attaching device.

Sounds as if trans case/hyd oil contains a bacteria or fungus. I suggest to utilize some hyd oil additive that contains Biocide.

If that was my tractor & living in a warmer climate such as Texas I'd save my $$$$$ & not replace that sensor that's had a long history of failing for over 20 years. That sensor briefly alters inj pump timing until engine attains operating temp & then has no bearing on engine operation.

Have you checked the neutral start switch for continuity? Did you just visibly check fuses or utilize a VOM?

I also suggest to have battery load tested.

Change fuel filter & check for good fuel flow from tank to injection pump. Check to be sure fuel tank is venting. I utilize starting fluid as a very last resort & only ""very sparingly"" due to possibility of engine damage from excessive use of SF.
