    Expandable tracks are not great in my opinion. I am constantly having to lift my machine and switch the valve to push the tracks back out, cause there constantly getting pushed in. Unless you plan on hogging out a lot of basements and need to get through the door, I would not recommend them.

    The last thing I would want to do is lug around a heavy saw. The 261 is heavy enough as is and powerful enough to easily take care of anything you would regularly throw at it, with a 20" bar on it as well. This is as long as you keep your chain sharp which is easy to do with a Stihl 4 n 1 tool.

    I would flush the system with diesel first. Drain the fluid out, let it sit with the plug out overnight. Next day put 5 gallons of diesel in it and run it for 5 minutes. Drain the diesel mix off overnight and fill with cheap clean fluid cuse you might have to do it again.

    If your grass is well established a landscape rake will not hurt it if used periodically. You can adjest the top link so that the tines are not angled forward towards the grass as much and that will help not tear it up as well.

    Thank you. I do not like how the saw has a tendency to roll the chain off when I am cutting sometimes unless the chain is tight on the bar. Since most of my cutting is limbing I imagine I will be fine with the 3/8" bar/chain.

    You can probably get a stand a lone unit for pretty cheap used. With a Earth Tools coupler and a hitch dolly you can pull it around with the BCS, that is what I have done in the past and it worked really well.
