    Tym T254 size comparison to Branson/TYM 2610h

Thats a cool tractor, especially with the 9x3 transmission and the bigger tires. (I also dig the black rims)

    Tym T254 size comparison to Branson/TYM 2610h

The 2610h does in deed have the 3 range, which is really nice. sometimes low is too low, and High is too high. The mid range is awesome.

    Got a TYM T224 coming..

Congrats! That engine is very peppy in that little tractor, and with the size its very versatile.

MIL symbol came on along with the RFD symbol.

If the regen light (puff of smoke) and the MIL are both on then that usually means there is some kind of error. Perhaps a bad sensor or damaged wire for a sensor. I should also ask - Are the lights solid or blinking?

    Mystery string trimmer head

Has anyone ever seen this head before? Its on an echo SRM-225 but its not an echo head. you just hook short pieces of line onto it. A brand name for it would be great,

    Zetor M22HT filters

Can you take pictures of the filters you have on the tractor? And a few shots of the engine and the transmission belly? Im about sure its a yanmar powertrain. Your original post says oil filter for $80. Is that the transmission filter you are after?
  15. D

    Zetor M22HT filters

I agree, its a TYM T224. It should have a Yanmar engine Engine oil filter - 11930535150 Hydraulic oil filter - 11102303100 Fuel filter - HA13040000A4 These are the TYM part numbers, probably set you back $60 for all three depending on where you order them. Many of the small Zetor are made by...

Yanmars made by TYM are out

wow, that tractor looks just like a TYM T654 / TYM 754 but with Yanmar decals... I'm surprised they didn't change more of the looks. The T654 and T754 have a Deutz engine with a TYM made transmission, I wonder if its the same powertrain in the Yanmar Model EDIT: I just reread DarkBlacks quote...

    Wanting to buy new tractor

Branson / TYM - their biggest HST model is 55HP. Anything bigger is either shuttle shift or Power shuttle. so that may rule them out for you. I really like the power shuttle they make, I've driven the T654 and T754 and they are nice tractors. Deutz engines in both of those.

Pinhole leak in hydraulic line on backhoe. There a clamp or sleeve fix?

Pinhole leak in hydraulic line on backhoe. There a clamp or sleeve fix?

    2013 Branson 2400H question.

Berco-Mac in Canada makes a front mount snow blower that also uses that mid pto. Otherwise you dont really need to worry about it. Just don't run it when going through tall grass, I've seen people get grass wrapped around it and take out the oil seal there.

What fluid to use in front axle

Use gear oil in the front axle, 80w90 Some of the older Branson's had a separate tank for the power steering. I think its on left side. So that's what the owners manual is referring to when it says to use Transmission fluid

Thanks for those numbers WinterDeere. Naturally everyone will have different cost, especially on repairs. But that gives a good idea on true cost savings. OP it would be interesting to know approx how much you used to spend on gas and maintenance on your previous mower. Naturally it will fluctiuate over the years as gas prices always jump around. Dif between 3515 and the 394 ?

They are still making "Branson" Tractors. (2400/2610, 15 series, 20 series, 5835R.....) The 3015 is discontinued and looks like the 4215 is still available from the factory but probably going away too. Torvy summed up all the other details very well. I would predict the Yanmar powered models...

Most manufacturers do not cover transportation under warranty. With that said, its up the dealer, they should have their own company policy on if and when they cover transportation costs.

    New TYM 2515R review

Great review! I will mention you can get the same tires as the larger 15 series. The 3515 and 4215 have the 420/70 I think. Its cost more money but is an option from TYM. Next question will be weather a dealer has those sitting around to put on the 2515..... kinda unlikely but you never know.

    3rd Function Remote

WR long has good kits. Live 3rd function, tell them make and model of tractor and loader and they can send exactly what you need for complete install. Im thinking its around $900 but might depend on tractor model.

    Branson 2515h weight

The industrial tires on that one are usually 380/70-19.5 (unless you upgrade to what the higher HP 15 series have.) Those would be around 300 pounds per tire (filled about 75% with Rimguard.) Bare Tractor is 2,969. BL150 loader is 1,008 pounds with bucket. so 4,577 is a good ballpark,

When do I change the oil? Service Manual vs Operators manual: 100hrs vs 400hrs!

    2515H Back up lights

The bulb and wiring should be there, you would have to engineer a switch somewhere to activate them, on an HST maybe the "back up" pedal. On a shuttle some kind of switch on the shuttle. I think I recall seeing a post somewhere and someone had done this, may have been a different brand though.
