Look for approximately a 60hp, 4 x 4 Loader, rear remotes, and cab. Looking for suggestions and what it cost. Your suggestions are appreciated.
The MX6000 puts out a gross 63 hp and 52 pto hp. That ought to run most implements he has.Is it safe to say you are looking for a modern, more comfortable, cabbed, HST, replacement for your FarmTrac 665DT?
Depending on what impliments you have/had on the gear Farmtrac, you might want/need more HP out of an HST, to run the same impliments. With 60 engine/52 PTO; the Massey 60hp HST is turning out 45 hp at the PTO (power shuttle does 47hp at the PTO). Most impliments will be fine, but if you were on the edge before (pto power wise), you might need to step upto a 70hp?
With cab machines, pay particular attention to blind spots, and how You see, can you see bucket corners, ends of 3 point arms, outside corners of a 7 (or 8) foot rear impliment, how about upward front-left/right. Spec sheets can't really show visibility, and seeing bucket corners is important, as well as lower lift ends.OP: whatever tractor you look at, realize a spin around the dealers lot is a poor simulation of field tasks. good luck
