OK, thank you, I am hoping it will be a Fall project before it gets too cold. Same time I will pull the hydraulic lifter control for the scoop and send it to a hydraulic shop for rebuild. Local chop in Salem, OR says about 200.00 and a seal kit will fix that one.

I have a 2004 $WD 1428V and the Front Left wheel is leaking fluid at the swivel point where the part that goes down inserts into the horizontal shaft. The manual shows a seal for the "Final Case" so it appears you have to drop the whole assembly down. They are very sketchy on the "how" part...
